We have yet to see what visual changes were made for the story but when it comes to Capcom Fighting Jam's change for Demitri's Midnight Bliss there is a good reason. Some characters transform into an actual JoJo character such as Enyaba from Part 3 or Lisa-Lisa from Part 2 in her gondolier costume.
It's looking like Capcom still had the Jojo license by the time of the making of CFE... but doesn't have it anymore, so can't use those references. Thinking about it, Capcom made a Jojo Part 5 game for the PS2 in the early 00s, so the timing makes sense. The company must have had the Jojo license from the late 90s, to make those 2d fgs, until some time in the 00s.

Dudes will shit their pants over the idea of a game having changed visuals and then instead of removing precious goon bait, they actually just removed copyright content they don't have access to anymore and toned down crazy flashing effects in retro games

One of them is practically Sakura-lite, and another has a moveset of *only* supers (as a drawback he takes x2 damage, apparently).

They should've done what svc chaos did (as annoying as that is). Just put a disclaimer in the beginning stating that the games were a product of the times. Why make unnecessary changes?

Some are necessary. In Capcom Fighting Jam, some of the Midnight Bliss transformations are into JoJo Bizarre Adventure characters, which Capcom doesn't have the rights to.

Man, I'm not getting this game because they're going to DEI it. Basically, the game in the industry is trying to appease the feminist, trying to bring in the younger generation and more. I'm excited about this release. I'll buy it for Steam, PS, and Switch. Loved playing Capcom fighters on my Dreamcast at the dawn of the millennium. I wonder if Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be priced at $40 USD like the first release, or if the price will be bumped up to $50 like the Marvel collection?

and i watched all the story modes whose visuals will undergo changes (censorship no more, no less let's not be afraid of words) and i wonder which visuals will be changed? That’s literally not what’s happening… there are two transformations that are JoJo characters, which are copyrighted. They are removing those transformations specifically.
