I just passed my NREMT this Tuesday after taking it for the third time. I watched all of your videos before taking my test and I finally passed. Thank you! Class well worth it, money well spent.
@@abrahamcervin2643i know i’m a bit late so if you haven’t and anyone else looking to take the NREMT I use EMSpocket prep i’ve heard about this app from firefighters and emts always good reviews and it does a good job of explaining each question and answer either with mock exams included
Stridor is an upper airway obstruction best described as a high pitched sound, the best answer would be D (inhalation burns) because of the swelling that would occur causing the upper airway to get smaller.
One last question before my NREMT in the morning. I just finished the test prep from Evan hopefully I will kill it. Thanks Paramedic Coach for the Content.
@@blakeshelton9077 same here bro I def thought I bombed it. Had to take it during the pandemic and drive a an hour and some change away to take it. The drive there was longer than my test
@@caydendassinger9618 no, you will be an accelerant so you go to another compnay that has already completed the emt section and is starting the whiskey phase. So you skip the first like 6-8 weeks
@@caydendassinger9618 no, you will be an accelerant so you go to another compnay that has already completed the emt section and is starting the whiskey phase. So you skip the first like 6-8 weeks
I knew the first question was immediately D because stridor is cause by a narrowing of the upper airways. All the others are lower airway deals. Pneumothorax is your uneven diminished lung sounds. Copd is more of a wheezing sound. And pneumonia is more rales. Inhalation burns also cause swelling of tissues which Is what would cause the stridor in the first place.
