Thank you for letting people know that anything's absorbent could be a diaper liner I have literally cut up flannel sheets and folded it as if it was a flat and they work just fine

Jade W it seems like common sense yet...I didn’t come to that conclusion til about 2 years after cloth diapering 😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️

My first step into cloth diapering was making them myself because I couldn't afford to buy them and the first thing I used to make them were receiving blankets at that point I realized as long as it could go over a baby's butt and absorb what was coming out of it it would work

@@TheTattooedMommaOfficial Yes! Because it meant anyone on any budget as long as you have access to a diaper cover and a way to wash can cloth diaper their baby

So what would you suggest for a nighttime set up for an infant as well as a 18 month old? Is a flour sack enough?

I used to add a microfiber towel for bedtime. So the floursack towel is what touches baby's skin, then the microfiber towel, then the diaper cover.
      Or 2 flour sack towels.
Or even a piece of flannel added.

Hey!! I’m pregnant with my third and I am going to cloth diaper. Any suggestions if one does not have hot water from the washing machine? We have hot water in the home but my washing machine is acting up. Our budget is too tight for a new washer right now.
    Thank you! :)

You can soak them in a bucket of hot water before throwing them in your washing machine.
