  • In this video, we'll explore the different types of cloth diaper inserts and their unique features to help you choose the best option for your little one if you're using pocket diapers or diaper covers.
    1. Microfiber Inserts
Microfiber inserts are a popular choice for their low cost. They are lightweight and very affordable, and work best for newborns.
    2. Charcoal Bamboo Inserts
Are really just microfiber inserts wrapped in grey fleece. They are low cost, but there are better insert styles available on the market.
    3. Bamboo Inserts
Bamboo inserts are known for their softness, breathability, and impressive absorbency. They are a natural, sustainable option that can be a great choice for sensitive skin. Make sure you pay attention to the fiber content of the layers of the inserts to avoid products that have hidden microfiber cores.

    8. Preflat Inserts
Preflat inserts are a type of flat insert that is pre-folded, making them easy to use and insert into a cloth diaper cover. They offer a simple and convenient solution for cloth diapering.
Choosing the right cloth diaper insert can make a big difference in the performance and comfort of your cloth diaper system. By understanding the unique features of each style, you can find the perfect fit for your baby's needs.

Actually polyester is an endocrine disruptor and toxic, can have long term health consequences on babies who are just developing and so sensitive to toxic products. Cotton is the best option and best if it’s organic cotton

What do you think about bamboo compostable daipers?

We've used them in our own home! Quality wise - they work as well as traditional plastic disposable diapers. (At least the brands we've tried)
However, there are a limited number of facilities that are actually capable of composting soiled diapers. So I think a lot of the marketing is greenwashing the compostable part of them.
