First visit...... absolutely great reaction brother. Epic concert by an epic band..... got to see them twice and roger do his "final" wall tour memories ill take to the dark side of the moon....... subbed
Sam Brown was on the backing vocals. She was a star on her own in the 80ies. They always only had the best of the best as backing vocals! Glad you reacted to this song! The talkbox solo is a very rare thing to ever see or hear. And I like the topic of the song and the feeling it conveys and the stage show (with the moving symbols). For me this song is a hidden gem of the concert and comes right after high hopes, comfortably numb and shine on you crazy diamond!
Try David Gilmour Then I close My Eyes live Awesome song just a little treat fore the ears to enjoy Close your eyes and it will put a smile on your face
Excellent song and reaction. I love the jazzy guitar licks at the beginning of the song. Vocals are great including the voIce box and David’s guitar is glorious as usual. Very much enjoying this Pulse concert. ✌️
Only Floyd can make a song about a nervous breakdown sound (and look) so good. Stephen Hawking said “For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen.” and allowed Pink Floyd (his favourite band) to use his computer/ speech machine in 'Keep Talking'. Hi from Canada. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
Gotta love Stephen Hawkings intro " keep talking" . Like to see somebody doing all of the Division Bell. You might look into Dave's solo work. not the big light show but his playing really stands out. Last concert with Rick Wright ( keyboard) before his passing. "live at Gdansk" string orchestra backing Daves guitar ( mind blowing) solo " take a breath" " on an island " ( 2 solo's) " the blue' . 'echoes"***** last time. " Live at Pompeii" " in any tongue" . The only man to play in the theater twice since 79 AD.
I'm really glad you mention how good the backing vocals are on this show. But if you go through a cross-section of Pink Floyd's work, you'll see how big a role backing vocals have always played in their work. On Dark Side Of The Moon, for example, they're fantastic.
I agree with that for sure...the few songs that i am familiar with (studio or radio versions) i love the backing vocals...hearing them live and how much more powerful they sound has been a treat to say the least
The Pulse tour was in support of the Division Bell album which included this track. Don't miss the track, Wearing the Inside Out, which includes lead vocals by Richard Wright and more great background singing. It is often overlooked by reactors on TH-cam. Not sure if the Pulse version is readily available, but there are later live performances out there with Wright performing with Gilmour. If not, the studio version is great too.
@@totallyradreactions5006 Actually, after further research, I don't believe it was included in the Pulse concert. I know it is on the Division Bell album and was performed with Wright and Gilmour on Gilmour's Remember That Night concert. Still worth checking out.
There was no Pulse tour , it was The Division Bell tour, Pulse being the commercial recording of that tour. My fav post Roger Waters Pink Floyd song is Coming Back to Life from the Division Bell album.
Pulse is the album this track was Inpired by a talk that Stephen Hawkins gave ,There is a remastered version that includes Hawkins speech that inspired dave gilmore that is Epic !!
You really need to check out the studio version of this one. The production is gorgeous. (On this live version Dave gets a little carried away with that voice box thingy at the end. LOL).
Unfortunately brother you are old enough to understand this just like me but this song means way more than people realize it really means communication for the human race to not stop talking or there will be another World War if we keep up the track we're heading with blinders on the recipe for catastrophe is there on all levels now and so does my WW2 veteran family members that are still left It's like one my favorite songs Folks Keep Talking from my favorite bands Pink Floyd when Stephen Hawking did his famous Commercial in the 90s saying as long as Mankind keeps communicating the human race still has a chance to turn it around no matter how close we get to another catastrophic global disaster like now we face in 2023 like some of my family who faught in WW2 so this never happens again unfortunately they now see all the ingredients are again like it was in 1937 only with hypersonic nukes and way more powerful and devastating warfare weapons on terrifying scale never thought possible it's almost incomprehensible to the mass destruction this will cause you think the most disturbing and scary movie in history threads about a nuclear Holocaust with the most realistic ending in movie history about really what will happen to are human race in end Which is not being able to reproduce because of radiation wasteland on a apocalyptic scale that even surpasses another great WW3 ending movie on the Beach made in the 1950s where Australia was the last country standing waiting for the end of are existence again either way you look at it people like this song represents we need to keep talking or else
Unfortunately this song means way more than people realize in the year 2023 now more than ever it really means communication for the human race to not stop talking like Stephen hawking continues to say over and over again because he knew and that's why David Gilmour put him in the beginning for this Famous special meaningful song that gets more relevant in each passing day each passing month and each passing year the Doomsday Clock unfortunately keeps getting closer to midnight. Like Roger Waters said at a live performance this past year in 2022 live to the entire crowd and is more worried now than he was when he made another one of my favorite songs Two Suns and A Sunset with a more powerful meaning and situation that can happen if we stop talking and communicating like the other famous song David Gilmour sings about on his famous voice box that Stephens Hawkins commercial made relevant to help with the other meaning of this song because like him can't talk anymore without the help of technology but there message still stays the same about if we stop talking it will continue to lead us to the ultimate catastrophe another World War if were lucky not to escalate to past of no return into a Nuclear Apocalypse. Which is the final and last step of my other favorite song by Pink Floyd The Two Suns and a Sunset 🌇 unfortunately in 2023 the recipe for disaster is there and warning flags are going up constantly in my WW2 veteran family members heads for along time now because of it and every little thing that makes it easy for us to get there quickly now all the same ingredients that were happening before WW2 they say today is there just like in 1937 only worse this time everybody has the ability to wipe each other out with just one push of a button at hypersonic speeds the earth and mankind never has dealt with in all of are species history and existence can be over in less than 15 minutes now because of it and no massive oceans this time can prevent it on every side of the globe it's game over It's like one my favorite songs Folks Keep Talking from my favorite bands Pink Floyd when Stephen Hawking did his famous Commercial in the 90s saying as long as Mankind keeps communicating the human race still has a chance to turn it around no matter how close we get to another catastrophic global disaster like now we face in 2023 like some of my family who faught in WW2 so this never happens again unfortunately they now see all the ingredients are again like it was in 1937 only with hypersonic nukes and way more powerful and devastating warfare weapons on terrifying scale never thought possible it's almost incomprehensible to the mass destruction this will cause you think the most disturbing and scary movie in history threads about a nuclear Holocaust with the most realistic ending in movie history about really what will happen to are human race in end Which is not being able to reproduce because of radiation wasteland on a apocalyptic scale that even surpasses another great WW3 ending movie on the Beach made in the 1950s where Australia was the last country standing waiting for the end of are existence again either way you look at it people like this song represents we need to keep talking or else
I feel like this every day !!!!
It doesn't get more professional than this. Legendary performers , legendary composers.

Great reaction! This is one of my favorite post-Waters tracks. It was the lead single off of The Division Bell album.
ok, wow, i need to get onto that album pretty soon. lots of good ones on there it seems

Check out Run Like Hell from the same concert, it's visually stunning and will blow you away !
I do believe that it's in the Guinness book of records
This song is also from The Division Bell
This is from the Division Bell tour , to the promote the album.

The song is dedicated to Mr. Stephen Hawking, one of my favorite song 🤩💥😊

The speaking parts in this song is Stephen Hawking.
This song touch me a lot 😒😒😒
Turn up the quality - the sound is terrible og so is the picture.,
