I am self diagnosed and feel this way. I just take an online quiz for autism or aspie and remember how much I fit on the spectrum. I would like to get a diagnosis just so I have that validation, but $1,500 is a lot of money for validation. 😜

Yep alot of money. If you do not need an medically endorsed diagnosis for ssd benefit, seeking accomodations at work? You will be wise to steer clear of medical diagnosis. Sadly most practitioners simply are not qualified. For level one autism they may very well deny you as being to high functioning ! Ir you are able to keep eye contact. Seriously this happens. Also girls may be denied because of being a girl and still some believe it is boys only and or have no understanding how girls differ can be misdiagnosed as borderline personality disorder, bipolar or ?. If u get diagnosed, kind if got an official card to carry. Validation for you but the wirkd will nit care. Still people may, do not believe you. Just saying that will not be easier. So yeah, if thus far you are relying on a quiz? Go on youtube and search for a youtuber you can trust that is transparent, gives little personal explanation of say 60 to 90 traits many autistics share.. you should Feel some or most Head On .should be like: wow! omg this is my whole life. Easily feel this is you . If not do the same for adhd, they co occur for many. Try to find girls giving those traits. I used Orion Kelly but he is male. Whewww sorry so wordy. Also Dr Dana Waters book Bite-Sized Autism is incredible, not typical text filled pages. amazon ..😛🙃and maybe cruise thru prior episodes by subject for neuoromarvels. Cheers

Oh, also you may discover you are not autistic. People, we are highly complex and our life experiences in their own can create similarities. Only a practiced therapist can help us sort those.
