I guess one must just know when to keep him on hold fire and to keep the sniper moving so they dont always know where he is? Also, the rifle-grenade of grenadiers is a great way to oneshot enemy sniper if the guy isnt paying attention.
Its really maddening that even when you have snipers in hold fire, if you enter a building, the windows all smash open and you automatically shoot at anything! WHAT?! Why? Sniper should be way more specialised!
hi Hans, could you do one episode about close the pocket ability from encircle doctrine ? namely the requirement for it to trigger & the time it take for the ability to start. also, what is the name of the mod you are using for your tutorial, i want to test out stuff so this mod would be really helpful. Your forgot OKW Puma's Precision Shot. It has 100% accurcy and will always kill allied snipers on retreat ;-) And Obers with Mg34 or STG44 are also absolutely deadly vs snipers. Great video though!
Critical shot of british sniper (or okw puma) does not stun all heavy vehicles, neither does it disable the turret on all medium tanks. It depends on the vehicle having a turret that can traverse, or a fixed gun (this means its an assault gun). Assault guns (STUG, Jagdtiger, Elephant, Sturmtiger, Jagdpanzer) will get stunned. Turreted tanks (P4, Tiger, Panther, Königstiger) will have their turret jammed. So a british sniper cannot stun a Königstiger, although a jammed turret will likely lower its efficiency :)
Onyx Dragon agreed, would be cool to see some sort of implementation of a designated marksman for US. OKW and US are the factions I play too so I never get to use a sniper lol
I´m not Hans, but I´ll try to help. It demands on what you need, a Pz. IV is better against Infantery and is earlier on the field, the Panther on the other Hand is better against Vehicles and can take more damage and can be quite a game closer if you are ahead in fuel. But the Pz. IV can also be very decent against enemy medium Tanks and is easier and cheaper to rebuild if lost. To make it short: The Pz.IV is a solid and most times good choice to go for.
you actually dont expect that kind of baiting on a proper match...like counter sniper is not very much seen in my tier... I´ve only been countersniped 1 time in all my matches...but I countersniped lots of them

okw Puma is great vs snipers. it's vet 1 ability is great to counter snipe.

It's a good idea to patch that out. An anti-tank veichle should not be the answer for countering snipers.
