thing about goliath, you hide them in a corner of the building, haystack or a ditch somewhere. then lead the enemy in to fight your front line troops . move the goliath to their rear. most player will instantly retreat-> making a single line of infantry running back to base. then Kaboom
Haha it's a long shot but we have so many great compilations of Skippy using Goliath's and B4s to massive effect, wiping out 5-6 units at once, they definitely work super effectively but it takes some solid micro and luck
A good idea when manually targeting squads with support weapons is to use the attack move command (q on gridkey), this way, even if you misclick, your mg will not pack up but continue to fire
Countering Brit Emplacement Spams please.
WattledOak25 i think the counter is indirect fire like mortars or artillery
or if you have the doctrine for it, encirclement doctrine Close The Pocket and if the said Emplacement spam is just next to another point you/your team controls, it's perfect since it just nukes them to hell.

i missed the kv-2 a bit. the kv2 can act like a mobile arty piece and it is awesome in combination with mg's or other suppression units.
For the Soviets, you seem to have forgotten a few units: the flak half track, the DShK mg and the KV-2 assault tank.
...Unless they weren't in the game yet in may 2016. That seems unlikely though.
Why not make new version of the tipps of the week?
In tipps of the week all was shown better than in bootcamp.
You demonstrate this with OKW infantry blob or section blob, those are more common and the MG tricks are much harder to pull off with MG34/maxim

1 or 2 sniper also force your opponent to retreat units faster with more mans in a squad. Also if you have some inf to protect some sector - your MG must be way more expose to reingorce inf and with sniper 1-2 you can keep yuor MG in super safe spots. It is 1 of ways to deal with blobs

When I play with my friends we always go Okw,Ost,Ost one Ost goes on air support and one on close airsupport so we can fight of blobs and emplacements easily!
Fight till 12cp Okw build flak on ammo and drop some for you to bomb the blob with stukabombs,wait till they retreat Okw flares base/meditruck/major and the its 80% gg.

Just a heads up about the goliath, its not as good as you would expect vs. blobs. The goliath deals half damage if it is killed by enemy fire, and it also decloaks like a sniper (if the enemy loses within 10m). As a result, the goliath can be killed by a blob just walking at it. The best way to kill enemies with the goliath is to hide behind LOS blockers or to flank the enemy retreat path.
still find it very difficult to counter ukf blops in early to mid with okw units especially when they are upgraded with bars, suffered high losses until i teched for pz4s against ukf.
I split my blob in two. If there is one MG you will ALWAYS get through. I guess these were good tips vs the very average players. Otherwise great stuff Hans!

the blobs I have trouble with are OKW blobs, allied blobs are less of a problem because the MG42 is better at suppression with a wider ark
i dont see the use of the bulzzdozer except clearing tank traps but i can just blow tank traps with the normal sherman and he sherman has a hight explosive ammo too
Enemies Panzer grenadiers are waiting to ambush you. But your mortar Sherman help you to deal with this.
But right now this is one of the words American doctrines.
I love the su-76 ability. It's great for clearing out early light vehicles and light tanks like t-70 ect. Then it turns into a great anti infantry unit anytime you need it and the ability works as a useful sniper team up with flares
u should do vid about countering new factions like britt,okw,usaf, as the soviet or wehr bcuz new ones seems op as hell.

Could you show us how to counter British blobs, especially on Vet. 1 ~ 3 Infantry Section with double Brens. As me and my friends are on constant headache onto destroy the blob, most of the time those blobs were supported with the range of Mortar Pitts, using MGs, Snipers and Mortars as a Werh. is proving extremely difficult destoying it, and the Panzerwaffer at times are not easy to destroy those blobs. And the Infantry section have those Fire Rate increase when they are in yellow or green cover, what are your methods of destroying it?

+Jaa Yeong New Well the answers are in the video. I would say use the infrared halftrack and combine it with artillery like stukas or panzerwerfers.
+Jaa Yeong New The tips in this video apply to all blobs. Just follow this advice and you should do well.
The -Panzerwiper- Panzerwerfer is the way to go; you just need to time the barrage correctly, and close the distance as much as possible without putting the halftrack in danger.
Also, if the Brit is fond of Mortar Pits but is not using a Commander with access to on map artillery (like the Sexton), the humbel leichte Feldhaubitze 18 is your friend. It can wear down the Mortar Pit with impunity.

how do you stop a Panzer IV 'blob'. Example: I like to play CoH with some friends of my, and 1 of them builds like 4 of 5 Panzer IV's, and goes full blitzkrieg.
Use mines! If you're ostheer and you have the proper doctrine, riegel mines are fantastic at bringing a blitzkrieg to a grinding halt. US has those engine slow mines, same with Brits (afaik), and Soviets can use their demo charges although it'll take some proper positioning on your part to get the enemy tanks into the radius.
A very cheap solution is staggered AT guns covered with mines. Also, 4 or 5 Panzer IVs is up 600 Fuel without counting the prerequisites. Looks like you are leaving him alone with his fuel for a long time. _Don't do that_

though overpriced, I still find it strong vs blobs and it is great for supporting against tanks since allied armor is thin along with the 25% stun chance. Clearly you have never tried 3 plus brummbars against Soviets or US. It is pretty fun. (note I usually play 3v3)

I've lost so many early games due to Conscript and Shock spam. My 4 volks swuads vs 8 russian squads. And 2 minutes aftrr the luchs, I get countered by a zis and t70. Also losing schwerpanzer hq .....

when i had jacksons russian tnaks cant fck us then i realise he was making blobs shcoks troops and red guard infantry with mortars they hall have potrs riflkes and we both of my team has hmgs artilary and tanks and still doesnt deal any of them rip
I had an avre shooting over a wall killing 5 full volksgrenadiers squads, blobs arent that hard to counter. When a blob is broken the enemy is in a weak position, that is the time to assault

No, the shell travels in an arc steep enough to shoot over buildings, etc. It's indirect.

why not giving 3+ units of the same kind and on one spot a negative zeal? which means less accuracy, easier to suppress and more damage inflicted.
if the developers really want to fix blobbing, they have plenty of possibilities. But since they need a big player base which pay for new commanders fixing blobbing would just kill all the noob players without any micro. coh2 is so micro less compared to other rts games.

yes you can win a game with one sniper and one mg and one mortar, Wehrmacht is too overpowered, the strongest Mg42 in the game. to blob as a british player and USa player you need alot of men power , with germans its simply the opposite.
