Did you fall asleep during the game or something? How many times can Lamar get away with missing wide open recievers while still being called a Quarterback? I absolutely love Lamar in fantasy football but in reality he is genuinely the worst QB in the NFL by a wide margin. The way he misses people is embarassingly bad. I would do better. You would do better. Literally anybody else on this planet would do better because they would feel motivated to try, unlike Lamar who has been paid and coasting for a while now. Do not lie to yourself and pretend like it was even a mediocre game. An average QB wins that game ten out of ten times.

I wanted my team to either draft him or Allen........I'm very happy with Allen just like you're happy with Lamar but at this point in their careers i wouldn't take Lamar over Allen. Allen has the it factor. Jackson has a chaos factor. Sure you can like the chaos factor but for some people its not pretty. I'm one of those people.

The oline was a big reason why the Ravens have not been able to run in the championship game and the performance yesterday was on a similar level. That unit needs to make a major step forward.

I agree with your point of eliminating the big play and forcing the short intermediate throws as a defensive gameplan.
You're the only analyst that has done this objective analysis of Lamar. It's greatly appreciated as a fan of the game politics aside, I need more of this.
Gonna say the very blunt truth in my perspective, if Lamar didnt look like Lamar, no one would question his abilities to be an effective quarterback, he can throw 1000 great passes, have great winning seasons over and over like any other qb in the league right now, but youll never hear the same questions about them in the same manner and its because Lamar looks like Lamar and not josh allen, tua, kirk, or any other great but not tom brady qb that starts for their franchise and cant win the big game.

Well the whole season is about winning big games and what do you mean, yeah the 2x MVP is expected to play and win like an MVP would. Nobody would have talked bad about his abilities if he would have hit 2 different wide open passes for TDs. So there are very high expectations on a guy that wins MVPs, gets paid big, and beats everyone but Pat and the Chiefs. People get to hear all the time how he is the best aka MVP then they see him against the chiefs and he always falls short so he is going to catch some heat especially when your biggest critique is about making big time THROWS in big time moments then in the off-season goes out and loses 12 lbs and says he wants to run the ball more instead of working on being a better passer.
They lose to the chiefs everytime in a similar way and I've told Ravens fans the blue print of how it will happen every time it goes like this.
1. Get a lead
2. Stop the RBs running down your throat
3. Do your best to contain outside runs and play a lot with a LB spy following him
4. Force Lamar to beat you with his arm. He has yet to prove that he or his team whatever the case may be can do that.
Also all the guys you mentioned but maybe Josh Allen gets talked about all the time. Kirk is on his 3rd team who already drafted a guy to replace him. They always talk about getting rid of Tua. Josh gets the same talk of why can't you get past the top guys(Pat and Joe). All QBs are questioned when they can't win with great rosters. This was the #1 defense last year and will be up there this year as well 2 very good TEs 2 good receivers. Pat hardly ever has that much and every year I listen to people say the chiefs have the worse roster in playoff match ups then he wins. What does Lamar do with last years Chiefs offense? Nothing, Pat won it all with them. Lamar rarely hits 4k passing yards when even lower end QBs hit that mark. It has nothing to do with what he looks like and more to do with results.
Ravens did not play their starters in the preseason. Chiefs did. And it showed. By the time ravens pulled up their pants. The game was over. Sometimes I wish Lamar was more like Kobe Bryant. Selfish with the ball. He is the game changer

Just watched the Green Bay / Philly game. Both QBs looked half as good as Lamar did. Same when we had Flacco. "He isn't elite" they'd say. Watched a Colts game and saw Manning making the same good and bad throws as Flacco. They just hate Ravens quarterbacks.

If the Ravens invested in the O-line like the Colts did with Andrew Luck this would not have been an issue. I like how these millionaire GM's and Organizations valued in the Billions can act like they can only do one thing. Just because a QB can run a 4.3 doesn't mean you do not invest in the O-line you do not invest in RBs. Buc got that O-line and running game straight for tom brady. Treat Lamar like the MVP QB he is.
Facts. As a Chiefs fan I don’t understand the bashing of Lamar… akin to how I never understood the bashing of Mahomes when we lost to Brady in our 2 playoff meetings like ya we lost, but look who we lost to brother.
Another contributing example is the lack of an O-line and what that does to a QB: see Mahomes against Buccs in the Super Bowl. Man was running for his life. Granted it’s Mahomes so he’s still finding a way to make it look almost doable but falls short because no one else on the offense wanted to help. Mahomes with an actual O-line suddenly becomes as lethal as they come.
Jackson even has more options available to him than Mahomes when both have a compromised O-line given his skill set on the ground but with a proper O-line opening up a genuine pocket passer approach Lamar’s leg game suddenly becomes more potent because there’s more the defense has to account for which in turn also helps to strengthen the potential of the pocket passer game because they still have to account for Lamar’s legs.
Long ramble, sorry if there were breaks in sentence flow/logic.
The fact there are still nobodies who never played in the NFL or came even close to it still in the comments arguing that they know more than an actually NFL vet on whether 2x MVP, 2x 1st-team All Pro is a QB or not is so wild to me 😂😂😂

Love these videos. Seems like Chase is one of 3 people who actually defend Lamar, who has done more, with less, since entering the league. Give him the Eagles o-line, he wins at least 2 super bowls in 3 years, give him Mahomes weapons (early in his career) and he wins 2 in 3 years, give him Andy Reid or Eric Bienemy, once again, 2 in 3 years.

The first throw to likely, there is a corner covering someone else right underneath that play that could peel off. You throw the ball where likely can get it or nobody. The play became broken so saying he missed it is funny. Meaning lamar had to "wait" to make sure the other defender followed the receiver before committing to the throw. Thats not an easy throw in real time knowing his oline was trash all night and this is for the game. If that was the true design of the play i could understand. But Lamar's receivers went into a freestyle. They both could have ended up back in that corner with their defenders.
The Zay flowers throw i really don't understand how none of yall including the maker of the video cant see 54 with his hands up literally in Lamars face forcing him to throw the ball in the "open space." Flowers is supposed to sit in that open area. Continuing down the back of the end zone puts him directly behind another defender who was on the goal line. So let me guess where Lamar should put the ball according to you lol lead zay and throw a pick or throw directly to him and 54 bats the ball in the air??
You say Lamar's last throw was too high?? The ball that had to get over and between two defenders incase they deflect it?? The throw thats a routine catch for a receiver, just get your toe inbounds?? Lol
Still, in Crunch Time Lamar must make those last two throws. The O-Line must block star pass rushers like Chris Jones no matter what.
I don't get why people are down on Jackson. He is a starting NFL quarterback for a reason. Without the toe issue, this was an extremely close game. Likely had a monster game. My team won, but my goodness, Baltimore is no joke.

The ravens didn’t have a running back problem last year. The problem was the lack of use of them in the playoffs. The Ravens management should understand the importance of the where everything starts, the offensive and defensive line. You should always invest in your line especially with a special player like Lamar‼️
I’ve been watching the Ravens for nearly 20 years. They always have one position group that holds everything else back. For years it was their secondary. That line is going to be a major problem all year long.

He had opportunities to tie/win at the end, and he didn't make them. He had the chance, despite all the mistakes that occurred before, to still win, and failed. He had a lot of great plays, but if he doesn't close, it doesn't matter that much. Justin Fields had a lot of great plays.

Lamar showed last night that the Ravens had a terrible offseason with gaining depth. Lamar willed that game to be as close as it was. The Chiefs depth is so good that Mahomes just got to go out and play mediocre ball, while cruising to an easy 27 points

Everything ALWAYS starts with the O line. If you don't have that, you have no great appearing QB or RB or anything else. When an offense is clicking on all cylinders, it is because the O line is doing its job consistently.
