For typical operation I personally would key 15,000-16,000 and modulate to 18-20,000 bird average. However we really wanted to stress this power supply and show the raw power capabilities of this amplifier. So take that for what it's worth. Enjoy the video and 73s

Whooped everybody on 28 anyday anytime. Took it to the bowl an whooped many of big hitters people talk about key for key. Talk time on this amp is not limited. When others are cooling down u are still locking it down. If ur antenna an feedline is 10-8 u will be a BAD man with this I can Assure. I am Gump an when they thought I whooped them with a 15 or 20k tube it was those whimpy starter kit 3s they think they are better than. Lol. Now all the nosey ones u got it handed to u any time I wanted to on a pair of 3s. Stay tuned I got more for ya. By the way the amp is built like a Tank. I built this amp myself Sparing no cost. I have pics to serious an I mean Serious buyers with CASH!!! U will not find one like it Nicer, Heavier built, or the Beast this one is for the money. Thanks Gump in Alabama an I'm out!!!

This video explains it all. The video output is RAW power for the folks that like to run that way. It's my amp i Built. Key it anywhere but I'd say 15k key go to 18 or 20k avg. Once its sold the owner can run it how ever he pleases. $8k bottom dollar
From what Ive read, if you going to stress test an xformer a 3cx3000 is the tube to do it with
At 2.5 amps per tube (that's spec for a 3000) this amps will do 16,000-18kw average and pull forward and hold steady. That's where id run it personally, but we really wanted to show not only what the amp was capable of, but the monster power supply as well.
This is a complete package that should last someone a lifetime with very little to no repairs

How does this not bleed over into every appliance in the house and the neighbors. Some years ago I had a X force 2 x 4 in my truck and I used to lock up my next-door neighbors computer when I would key in front of the house. Of course when I learned I was doing that I would not key in front of the house LOL.
Money money money an properly done system. I'd be more concerned about the 1million dollar plus church 70 yards from me an the High School along with elementary school that's 200yards from me that I dont bother whatsoever. Ham OP maybe 300yards from me an Neighbors that a slobbering drunk could hit with a rock. Lol. It didnt all happen in a day although this Beautiful amp happened in a day.

If it were super quite it would not last as that would be a sign of not enough cooling/air flow. Gotta force the air to big MAULS that key for HOURS!

You don't need three phase. 80/90 amps will run this.

How do you guys prevent TV interference with that many watts?
1. Clean tuned radio
2. Well built amp
3. Properly tuned antenna
4. Well shielded coax, and heavier than needed coax.
5. Use a balun to prevent common mode current which causes tvi
Eliminate Neighbors. On14 Acres the sticks of Texas I haven't had a TV since 92 so we're good in our house

Back in 'ye olde' days', TVI was noticed by picture distortion, loss of sync with vertical rolling, and horizontal tearing, sound bars, and actually hearing a ham or CB'er talking as it over drove the TV and detected audio came out the speaker. Today, with DTV, people get pixelation, picture freeze, lost of signal and immediately think cable or satellite, or crappy through the air reception, never interference. So, basically, people are dumb.
