Dude cool video. what I do on old gaskets, is use a fine flat pocket sized oil-stone while its wet, don't forget to remove the dowel pins and wear gloves as it can get razor sharp edges.... Again great inspirational video for people. Ride on Brother.
I have watched all the zx7r serie. Now I am back at episode 1 and I am ready to put my 2000 zx7r back together. The parts are in ziplocks and boxes. You gave the motivation to restore my bike. Thank you for the videos. They are very informative. Btw, did you the "awesome" degreaser pure or you diluted in water (what ratio?). Also did you use a sonicator?
Scrolling through my feed and in the blink of an eye I see an old friend!
thank you for the video bro…next time more light would be welcome.

@@Turbo329 You're welcome Sir, if you can take the time to make them, I have the time to watch them.

Thanks for the kind words. Honestly, for the engine cases I used degreaser and a pressure washer if I recall correctly.
love this vid,and I own a zx7r. BUT I know I would screw up somewhere.
Hi mate, is that a 770 cc piston kit or the 779cc 13:1 ? are those Carrillo connecting rods? any work on the cylinder head?
779cc Wiseco kit. I sold the Carrillos after having them recondition and went back to stock rods. They were overkill for this motor.
We have done this so many times Hahaha...de ja vu. Great video!
you still replay?bro
keep it going...nice video
+tatuksa thanks!
What’s the name of that blue tool you used to take apart the piston ?
I think that was a Motion-Pro Piston Pin Puller.
