Dearest Emmy, I can’t believe that people could be so shallow, and cruel! Obviously whoever said these things aren’t capable of looking outside themselves, and CERTAINLY have not watched much of your wonderful work! They wallow in their own problems, don’t want to do the work to change their lives, and instead spend their time spewing their negativity onto other people. I don’t know if any other human being who haven’t had difficult times in their lives, and many turn it around by helping others! As far as I’m concerned Emmy you are an absolute treasure! Did she have parents/a grandmother/a family with the best education and the best advices to help her getting in the right tracks? Was that it? Did she had a "Emmy"? 😉 Or d😮id she lived surrounded by many good books? Or her dog taught her something? What do you think that had push you into the right "drive-mode"? 😊

We become privledged when we bare our own cross. We work through sometimes wretchedness that we had nothing to do with but are still subjected to it! Yes and then we can experience God's grace especially if we have enough heart left to extend that grace to others. But creation always teaches us God is good and He did not put us to the test. No. Evil is from the Devil without the D. Remember that my friend. I love your story, and I feel honored every time I get to listen to you. We must choose not to be victims like Adam and Eve, yes and all those weaklings who are just plain creepy.🥰👍

Very interesting to hear this Emmy. I am just a couple of years younger than you and I can remember experiencing hardships in my childhood and young womanhood (actually , all through my 70 years if truth be told). We never saw then as hardships though, we just rode on through the problems and starved some days and almost froze on others! I think the younger generation need to understand that everyones life has its fair share of difficulties. The older generation might seem to have had it easy, but we really haven't

Just trying to do the work, in spite of the depression I have had for 25 years. It's not easy, and from the outside people do not understand the struggle. Spite used to be what I had to rely on before self-love, but this never really worked very well. It's hard to be your own mother and father, to exist when it seems like so many are against your existence, to be in a society bent on unbecoming. I think I am ready to embrace radical freedom from systems of Capital and State that prey on the most vulnerable while spreading hate towards Self and Other. I want to know how to get to a place of "privilege" (in my mind this is wherever I am surrounded by true compassion) where I am not at the mercy of predatory systems and people. Much love, Alexa

Think the problem for a lot of us is that we actually have a good standard of living, almost everything that we have ever wanted and yet we are still miserable..........some of us are not up to the challenge......

Agreed. Not having the focus of sheer survival makes it harder to know in which direction to go and how to evaluate everything.

I wonder if Tom Szasz had the copies of your books and what was his thought about them.
