The American dream and even the Constitution are aspirational. But your roots are slavery, racism, nationalism, xenophobia, sexism, bigotry, classism, greed, ... How should the struggle against your roots be viewed? As progress, or the destruction of America?
@@MonsterSound.Bradley I totally agree with your assessment of our past and our reality of today. think with regard to the struggle which I agree needs to be a part of our daily lives is necessary. It comes down to who can we trust to undertake those challenges? Certainly not Donald Trump in my opinion. The most reliable person or group would be the concerted and coordinated efforts of grass-roots voters. Americans have had and are getting the Government they deserve. Whether it be the result of apathy or of uneducated voters following single issues. I both love our form of Governance and loathe it at the same time for being abused by those who lead it based on their own personal needs and willingness to allow Corporations to have almost all of the real power to determine reality for us all. I m not an advocate for socialism. I am an advocate for a Capitalistic society that is humane to all of our citizens.
It's all about decisions we make. That was a leg up for those kids and their parents but.. even without that help, be the best you can be and your kids will be even better.

This is a great story but was interesting is that he did have a choice. He could choose to help or not to help. I hope it starts a chain reaction. This is what I do in Taiwan. I was blessed to have helped to go to college and I made a promise to Jesus that if I was ever able to help others I would. That's what I've been doing the last 15 years and that's what I'll continue to do well until I go to be with him
