Now that I quit my job, I need to be more aware of my finances and how much I'm spending. In this video, I take you guys with me as I do my July budget. As promised, I want to be as transparent as possible along this journey - so I share with you guys how much I made in June, how I'm managing my budget, and how I plan to cut back on my expenses!

It is outdated expression.
We live in a world where you work 24/7 your shift can be anytime during that period.

@@427skies am passionate about cooking, organizing, planning and making my life as a working mom easy, am planning to start my TH-cam not to make money only to educate women and moms in my region am Emirati from Dubai and this is not very common in our culture, people depends 100 % on house help ! And keep complaining that money is not enough or not manageable, I found my way and am more than happy to share . I want the fulfillment feeling , helping and supporting others , also I learned the hard way , happy to give it easily to others , also no 1 god knows my intentions he have my back 💗

Dude I’ve been spending so much money on dumb things compared to when I was unemployment working for myself. Sometimes I kind of hate how compulsive and complacent I am now that I have a 9-5

I love the transparency when it comes to content creation that you give us insight too. Everyone says that this business venture/journey is silly because there is no money or value which I think comes more from lack of information rather than the actual numbers.

I really honour and respect that you admit you can/strive to donate more. Many of us (who can afford it, of course) give in the smallest capacities and feel a huge sense of self-righteousness when we do so, let alone seek to be even more generous. I did enjoy this video! Would love to see more going forward, i would love to see more money videos explaining some of the things you mentioned here, like how many/what different kinds of accounts and card you have and what you use them for and why you split them up that way (like you mentioned having one for food and then another for other expenses, etc) and like how you keep track of everything.

This was so insightful! Especially having clients that do this sort of work! But I did want to mention, only so you're not thrown off at tax time or risking an audit, the U.S tax court has ruled that the costs of maintaining an appealing appearance are not deductible, even for public personalities. U probably know this already but just for anyone watching that lives in the U.S.
I was just about to leave this same comment, if she gets audited, she is gonna be in a world of hurt. Do not mess with the IRS cause they can ruin your life for a long, long time. Hopefully she has an accountant who will tell her this kind of thing live and in person.

@@intentionalliving7326 That is a problem very dear to me so I'm always willing to help any influencer! There's so many grey areas in terms of accounting for this field since it's relatively new. Always have to stay up to date on new tax laws.

I would LOVE some more budget videos. I'm currently launching my own copywriting business and want to have other streams of income. I've been in a bit f a funk for about 6 years now, since my little sister died, and now I feel like I'm finally thawing out and motivated again to go for what I originally wanted prior. I've been applying for more editorial postions, but have also wanted to stop relying on a boss/employee dynamic and make something for myself. Not sure if I could be a content creator in this sense, but I love writing, performing, and the arts in general. Finances have always given me major anxiety so seeing you budget out has helped me make a list for myself. Now I just need one for the business end (once I launch).
