As I content creator who also works a 9-5, I love sharing a typical day in my life with you guys as I learn more about working in social media. In today's video I filmed some content for TikTok, and shared some advice on editing and captioning your vids. I also took you guys with me to take an Instagram picture in my fav Nastygal outfit! At the end I did a chit chat on how money is starting to look for me now that my channel is growing. I hope sharing my experience with sponsorships & PR is helpful to any of you wanting to do content creation full time!

Girl yes these videos have been EXTREMELY helpful. Especially with you being realistic about balancing your 9-5 with being a content creator. I work from home as well so your tips & advice has helped sooo much. Because of you I’m starting to build my tiktok & Instagram a lot more seriously now so that all 3 of my platforms can flourish & kind of feed off each other! When you explain that can you explain the rate amounts you started charging brands versus the in between amount you charge brands now based of the brands size !? I found that interesting cause how do you determine the amount to charge them like what’s the ideal in between amount you charge a small brand versus big brands?

Gurl, I appreciate you so much! Your energy on this is so live!! I am fighting imposter syndrome every day and it is a battle. I have managers who have found my channel and ask if I am thinking about adding to it because they liked them and I want to add to my channel. The thing is that I have unedited content of getting ready for work vlogs and I am openly saying how much I dislike my job. The dislike is respectful and honest in that I dislike the hours and the workload, but this would be a huge wake up call to anyone who works with me. I think just starting on simple comedic bits first and eventually getting to that will be best. 🤷🏾♀️
