I quit my corporate job at Amazon on June 3rd without having another job and am so so excited to start this next chapter in my life. Thank you for everything.❤️

As a Gen X'er, I am so proud of the younger generations taking control of their futures and not being beholden to the company line. Lynette made sure she could financially do it and that's fantastic.
What would be a HUGE help, and this is my opinion only, would be if healthcare wasn't tied to our jobs. The possibilities for citizens without that heavy burden needs to be explored instead of being dismissed as "socialism".
Good luck to all of you taking the plunge like Lynette has!!

You're going to be fine. I quit my job 4 years ago with a child. Listen, God is REAL and He was there always have been way before Amazon so your job is not even your source of living. At least you checked your finances, you had time to have fears. I was numb yet never ever been more certain that I can no longer work for the bank. My story is similar to yours, toxic work environment, just learning about my job and how the bank operates challenged me morally and ethically and religiously so I chose my faith. I chose God and my life hasn't been so blessed. From that decision I learned and saw God being God in every aspect in my life. He even opened a door I never imagined, I traveled abroad for the first time, all expenses paid, nice hotels, in and out board rooms mingling with important people in spaces I never ever imagined I would, never even dreamed actually but God is God and you will be where He wants you to be. God is so big He can do anything. If I never quit my job for the reasons I did, I would have never known there are doors God can open we know nothing about.
You will be fine. Enjoy your new journey!

It can feel that we can't quit our job, because we are so afraid of our financial state. And then quitting a job, because we didn't "like it" (because you can't ignore the red flags) can feel childish right? I've had to listen to so many conversations where people say "ah, get over it", "be an adult and take on responsibility". BUT honestly, the moment I quit the jobs which didn't align with my values and said NO to situations/people, my life started to change. I started to see and interact with clients and jobs that align with my values, without any red flags.

Looking back now, the entire process was the most intense, cult-like experience ever. I didn't get the job in the end. I've spoken to countless friends who have worked there who report the same thing as you - overwork, overwhelm, no work-life balance, feeling like they're working for a toxic machine, etc.

seeing you is so affirming. I am in the process of unlearning what I thought was was normal in terms of worknand progress not just for my body but for my spirit. I had this moment and have been feeling so many different things and realize that its not strange to want more and to not be okay with complacency.

I found this video exactly when I needed it 💜 I’m graduating college soon and I’ve been struggling with trying to find a job or choose to follow my dreams. The people in my life don’t understand how badly I just can’t work a 9-5, but need to follow my passions. I don’t want to settle and this video reminded me that I don’t need to. Thank you so much for sharing and congratulations! You are being divinely guided 💜💜

Better things are to come your way! Its great that you have an understanding of what you want when most people stay in a job/workplace they hate, just because, although all situations are different. I wish you Goodluck on your journey moving foward!!!!

I quit my job about two weeks ago now, i was working in the cannabis retail industry. Its crazy hearing sooo many similarities to your story. Im currently gardening while i figure out a career path that better matches my values. Money was a concern for me too, i didnt want to take a pay cut after landing what seemed like a great job after college, but I truly realized just how much happier I am with more freedom. Im so happy for you girl!!! I love your content, and resonate with you so much

the funk is totally normal. we live in a world where we are use to being in a high energy state from work. so when you remove that it brings your body and mind back to homeostasis which is a natural thing we should all feel and not be worried about giving other people that dont care about our well beings energy that dont deserve it. I'm so happy for you, glad this is my first video watching of yours and def not my last. everything is happening for you not against you.
