  • I decided to do another ED recovery Q&A to cover your most popular questions, that I didn't get to last time :)
In the video I cover a lot about weight gain. I talk about set point theory, bloating, hunger cues, eating "too much" food, confidence in swimwear and so much more.
As always, I am not a professional so please speak to one if you want individualised support :) I also feel like my words were failing me this day so please give me patience hahaha, hopefully you can understand me well enough!
Sending you all so much love & strength in your recovery! Meg xx

These videos help me sm when I'm struggling with recovery because it also gives me a great distraction for when I'm finding snacks or meals difficult while encouraging recovery because it is the right choice! 🥰

I'd heard of energy deficit but no-one has explained energy debt to me before. I knew the body has healing to do but hadn't put the two concepts together, so that was helpful thank you! 💜

You’re so welcome! I’m pretty sure I read it in a book by Tabitha Farrar which she referenced so I’m hoping it’s legit info 😅

For me there’s a clear difference between binge eating and honouring hunger is very clear. Binges are very emotional for me. If I’ve just had a fight or mental breakdown and then eat large quantities of food, likely a binge. It also feels like a blackout. I couldn’t name the foods I ate afterwards. When honouring hunger or extreme hunger I feel guilty and eat the same amount, maybe in the same amount of time, but I’m not already crying or hyperventilating when I start and I make the decisions of what to eat, it’s not automatic and stress induced.

What a great video! So helpful, thanks! I was wondering if your mood has changed after recovering from your ED? I suffer from a lot of anxiety/low mood and am hoping that with weight restoration this may improve :)

Thanks lovely ❤ yes, I am absolutely happier. I don’t feel mental lows like I did when I was unwell/in early recovery. I hope that can help somewhat xx
