Staying close the root/root chord is what gives it this consinsten feeling, combined with the many close movements/movements to the fith of the chord, which adds this evil feeling. Came expecting an 'industrial synthwave' tutorial, got a 303 acid bass tutorial instead - either ways, absolutely *not* disappointed, your tutorials are really easy to follow, and entertaining to watch. Thank you very much, Daddy Dylan.
Still the most in depth, most informative and most funny video to watch, I’m here because of the 1.6 patch and the music gets me every time. Hope you doing good buddy, greetings from Berlin !
The TB-303 was actually quite good at being a bass guitar, if you followed like a 12-step tutorial they put in the manual. The "acid" sound just came from some producers trying something different with the machine.
I've just released today may first attempt to Cyberpunk without watching any tutoriel but now that I watched this, it is really gonna help my next one, cheers mate nice video 🌆
Awesome tutorial dude! Would be dope if the second drop switched to double time with the drums (kinda expected it from the build up). Something like neurofunk mixed with this genre would sound amazing!
DUDE IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A TUTORIAL FOR THIS KIND OF MUSIC SINCE I WAS LISTENING TO THE "GENRE" FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS THANKS ALOT!!!! (Caps lock intended)
This name could make sense if the genre was straight ofshoot of Synthwave, but it isn't, there's a lot more influence of EBM/Industrial and French House.
Cyberpunk is the best thing that happened to EBM. The snare is usually gated snare not a ... long one. The reverb on it is just to glue it to the modern-er vibes.
I have this little concept called Oldschool Cyberpunk Radio - songs that could be heard in 2077 but were released in 2020 when genres like synthwave, psytrance and industrial techno were pretty much alive.
Great video. I was looking for a way to get the sound so I could drum to it and create my own groove and dirty feel on the drums with the synthetic sound
Tried this on my modular today, it went quite well, I messed up the toms by making them a bit to punchy instead of making them sing. And since I don’t have drive I tried to make the bass very saturated. Didn’t quite get there. But it was a fun first try. Thanks for the help.
I love how he picked tempo in FL and started project in Ableton
he always does that
routine i guess
He did this in the K?D video too

There was a time when this was called Industrial music
Oh shit you right
This. I would love if Industrial Genre made a comeback
(wrongly)
I mean, industrial is a really broad term that encompasses music like this, but also like Throbbing Gristle, Einsturzende Neubauten, Ministry, etc.
@@spicyjew6777 That's true. Industrial got super metal at times. But this cyber punk stuff reminds me a lot of NIN in their prime

HOW TO CYBERPUNK: Distort a saw wave.
And filter
can also fm a detuned saw with a -2 octave sine wave
makes a really gritty cool sound
And put a Analog 24 db Band Pass Cutoff with an 2nd Envelope on it 😂
That HL2 dead enemy flatline sample. Perfection.
I haven't checked out this channel in 2 years. This man has become a mighty producer wow.

Yup, putting a track out like these soon! Love the vibe and excited for the game :)
The transition from FL studio to Ableton was so smooth.
Taking a minor key and diminishing the 2nd note makes it "phrygian," I think. This is very common for mid-tempo stuff.
Super glad TH-cam suggested this video. Awesome work!
