I used to have gwb5600bc then I sold it to funding on other watches, after a while I bought dw5600 with a modded glass of dw5030 due to lacking g-shock in the collection. After going back and forth, I decided to sell the dw5600 and bought back the gwb5600bc due to function and COMBI BRACELETS. I don't think I would downgrade to dw5600 again in the future haha
A square will probably be my next G-Shock. I like the solar option, but I’m not sure I want a negative display. These two negative displays seem to be pretty legible, though. I like the light fade in/out feature, too. Thanks for showing these three side by side!
I have an orange monster, a black knight (which I've never seen anyone else with) and many other seiko. Just bought my first gshock. Gw-b5600hr Excited. Really wanted a positive display b5600, but the prices are outrages. 150 for negative, 350 for positive display. So frustrating. Make more positive gshocks casio! So still looking for a positive, but still can't wait to the negative gets here. Atomic time to set all my mechanicals by!
I only like the sqaure Gs, but my w218 may not be feature packed as the Gs, but it gives the feel and look of a G very comfortable and at £15 (approx $10) is a no brainer. I can buy all the colours and still have money left over to put towards JUST ONE MORE WATCH.
I just bought my first g-shock G5600e-1dr and I don’t even notice it on my wrist! How is the legibility of the negative display on the GWB5600DC-1D, when outside in the sun?
Legibility is of course not as good as the positive display, but I'm used to it already on my GWM5610. So, not a big issue for me. Thanks for watching Sophia!
Hello there Alan. The GWB5600 negative display is a bit better compared to the GWM5610. But not as good as the new negative display on the GBD series. Those are way better. Thanks for watching
Great review, been thinking of getting a digital display G-Shock for some time, and this gave me a few ideas. I only have analogue versions as I prefer analogue dials. Oh, the normal Casio analogue watches are quite tough too! Bought a simple quartz analogue Casio watch during the mid-1990s for jungle training and exercise. Served admirably for some years, even though it took a beating in the jungle. Finally had to junk it when moisture appeared in the inner part of the dial face, obscuring the dial. Replaced it with a G-Shock G101, and that is still going strong some 20 years later. Incredible how tough they are!
I've take a look at my current Casio collection. And I only see square Casios & G-Shocks😂. Give it a try bro. You might get hooked as well. Thanks for watching 👍
Sebelum ni memang beli GWM5610 tu kat Akihabara Jepun, sbb memang kerja buat travel agent ke sana. Tapi skrg dah tak leh pergi, order guna Buyee je la kot. Tapi kadang2 ada je seller kat Lazada/Shopee yg jual direct dari Jepun. Cumanya saya tak pernah try lagi la.
GWB5600...GWM5610...DW5600 ! In my humble opinion, you can sync with a smartphone! Then the 5610 because of the bracelet, that's why I bought mine! The DW5600 I'll pass on that one! 🙂👍👍 I picked at the beginning of the video!!! 😂

Had 3 Casio, all round shapes. Somehow Casio square still hasn't grow on me yet. If I have to choose 1, it must be normal display (not negative display, getting poor eyesight with age), 200m WR. Solar and blutooth not important as I intend using it without much care
I on the other hand can't get along with round shaped G-Shocks😂. They just feel so bulky on my wrist. So Square G is always my choice. Thanks for watching as usual bro! 👍

Regarding the negative display. You can mod by simply change the Polarizer film on that watch to positive.
