    This was a very informative video, i truly appreciate the time and effort spent to not only explain routes with details, but also provide video of your journey. With the shots of the driven path and challenging/terrifying drop off😅it took out the most difficult part of future trip planning to make way for the enjoyment of the journey. Keep up the good work!!! Look forward to your future endeavors and videos. Blessings🙏🏾

    Thank you for this video. You covered exactly what I was looking for. The Schofield Pass pictures show rough, gnarly and twisted road. We are going to do the CB to Aspen hike next month in July. This really helps.

    Great video! Looking to do this hike sometime in the near future, and this was very informative. I just did Gray's peak this past week. I would have loved a video like this, about that 3 mile nightmare.

    I’m afraid your videos are too helpful. (They are very informative!) More and more people will want to start the 4PL from Crested Butte side (for good reason). I was shocked to see all the cars at the trailhead. I was there 2009, 2012, 2014 and I thought there were several cars then, but no where near the number I saw on your video. Amazing in light of the trailhead being so remote. 4PL is an epic hike. Beauty every step of the way. I’m also planning on taking a friend this summer.

    Great video Mitchell! We are planning a trip there early in July next summer and I was stumped as to how to get there when I saw the "Road Closed" notice on the map. And thanks for the facebook group info as well, that should help in planning as we get closer to the actual trip time.

    The road to West Maroon Trailhead was closed a bit after Gothic/RMBL area when we tried going there June 22 from Crested Butte.

    I found your channel yesterday or the day before and have really enjoyed watching your videos!!! I plan on hiking the 4 pass loop this coming summer as my tripwas postponed from last summer. I love that you celebrate Shabbat too! Are you Jewish? Messianic? Just curious. Anyway, great job! Thank you for these!

      @Mitchell Garrett me too! That is great! Shabbat Shalom to you (a little late now that we are at the end), maybe we will meet up out on the trail someday or something! I love finding my brothers and sisters in Christ! Keep putting out videos!

    EXCELLENT! Thank you so much for this! I've been eyeing this trail for 3 years and this July is my go date. I've been searching for years for a detailed explanation of the crested bute road! What do you do if you run into someone headed the other direction on the shelf part of the road?

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome!! If 2 people are coming at the same time one person can pull off to the side or backup depending on the area of the road.

    Thanks for this video. Very informative. What mileage does this add on to the 4PL?
    Thanks…

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hopefully it was helpful! It only adds 4 miles total, so 2 miles to the actual loop and 2 miles on your way back out.

    Thanks so much for your video! Quick question - did you access the 4 pass loop via this route by hiking from the trail head to belleview mountain, which is the closest section of the loop from where you started? Trying to follow it on All Trails

    • @Garrett_Logan
      @Garrett_Logan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I didn’t see your comment earlier! I hiked straight from the west maroon trail head to the loop. It’s a straight shot with plenty of signs! And if you ever get confused which I doubt will happen then just hang to the right😉
