I'm a solo quee player and here's my advice for all of y'all who're also solo quee players. It's being proactive, if you see that the enemies and your teammates are taking WAAAAAAY too long in a team fight where everyone is just fighting everyone and coming back after fainting, you need to rotate to the lane where you know no one is at. I'm playing a lot of Snorlax lately, a Mew main btw, and when my teammates are trying to get Regieleki, and the enemies are also trying to get it, I rotate to the bottom lane and score everything, then I solo take the bottom Regi. It'll work
Can you answer me a question? People say everyone should go to regieleki but when I do the team on the bottom lane keeps scoring and I have two options... fight alone against the team on the bottom lane or try to go up there so save the lane from being destroyed by the other team. I played as mew and they leaft me alone up there with a whole team against me. i don't know what to do anymore. If I defend the base they leave me, if I try to score I lose the base... What I'm supposed to do? People say just be a better player... But how I'm going to do the job of the whole team?

One mistake I see people making, if they're not playing SoloQ which is making matches in general harder to win, is not being a good team player. For example: Idling/afk at home base, Not helping your teamates in team fights for objectives, Trying to SoloQ an objective when most of your teammates are down and the whole enemy team is there, Stealing farm or last hits on wild Pokémon when a teammate really needs it to lvl up, Not helping your allies defend your goal zones and not helping/guarding a nearby teammate score in the enemies goal zone after you've scored, Farming at inappropriate times, and last but not least overextending while critically under-leveled and then surrendering when it backfires on you.
YEEEYYYYY TSKR💗🙏✨ I needed this because I'm new to the game and I also play solo, this would help me expand my knowledge about the game and improve my playstyle as well as get used to how pros should move heehee :3
I also managed to turn a really bad losing game into a winning one somehow in a Pokémon Unite match. Cause I just went for an objective on the bottom path (Regice) while everyone else was top defending our goal from (Regieleki) and the other team. Even if it might've been a dumb move, I did it anyway to give my teammates more hp and exp points cause it was crucial for us to be able to able to win that team fight. One teamate saw me go bottom so they followed, they saw that I was going for that other objective. So they kept watch and made sure no enemies were around while I took it out. We ended up winning cause of that decision I made, at the end my teammates thanked me for not giving up even when they wanted to. But also for helping them win the final fight against (Rayquaza) as well even if it put me in a bad position. So please try not to surrender and give up before the final boss fight, do everything in your power to make sure you can help your teamates secure that objective and I promise you'll have a higher chance of winning.
Generally good tips but for macro play there is another option which is rotation basically meaning moving from point A to B And it’s important to try and min max each goal zone since that has won me some games before Lastly if you are winning for the love of god don’t attack the 2:00 boss and opposite if you are losing
I very briefly mentioned rotating to help your jungler or to secure an objective, but chose not to go into detail because I feel like rotating for objectives deserves its own video. Rotating is super important on this new map, but these tips will apply to other maps in the game. Also just didn't wanna make the video too long lol.

Very helpful specific and practical macro advice. Reminds me a lot of the information I would get from watching LoL or Dota content. Thank you. The only information that is missing is regarding when and how to defend goals. But otherwise, pretty comprehensive coverage of macro play.
Thanks a lot! I actually come from a MOBA background. Mostly LoL and Smite. I probably could have mentioned something about defending goals. I'll have to keep that one in mind for the next guide I do.
A really horrible thing happened to me few months ago, my old account with 2000+ master rank (all solo que) was lost due to me forgetting to make an account and switching my device... 💀
Here are a few more macro tips: 1. Identify your team's weaknesses in pokemon select and choose your pick accordingly. Ideally you will have experience on a pokemon of each role, but if not, you can still adjust with in-role swaps. For example, if your team is lacking CC and you are thinking of playing Cinderace, you may want to swap to pikachu or another attacker with CC. 2. Basically never use your unite or die when the clock is at 2:30. The whole game is the 2:00 Ray fight and I see people blast their unite and die trying to push a point ALL THE TIME! 3. Scoring macro is actually really complex. When you break open the tier 1 goals, you give the enemy team more audinos and altaria spawns that are really safe for them to farm. If you do not break it open, they have to contest wild pokemon near the tier 1. The trade off is that they can maneuver faster to objectives or skirmishes with the speed flux zones, and still heal off berries. Generally though, if you purposefully do not break open tier 1 towers, you deny them experience and you can lock down a lead by stealing their side's wild pokemon. This is more applicable when playing outside of soloqueue, but you can still purposefully delay breaking the tier 1 for a long time. When I play in 5 stacks or trios, we usually will take a goal down to 1-10 points left. We will just leave it at that until ray, because you can then overcap almost 100 points. It is easily possible to score almost 400 points in those tier 1 goals, while never letting them safely farm the back lane audinos. If we are playing hyper aggressive, we will usually break top tier 1 open before the first regielekei. If we can push it into tier 2 (with something like zoroark jungle, or snorlax block + x speed) we can make the 2nd/3rd regi push into their base fatal and then just gate the rayquaza and never take it.
thanks bro its a good guide, i sent this to my noob friend i hope he will listen to you, i tried telling him the same stuff that you said but he didnt listen, maybe hell listen to you lol he doesnt look at map while playing it drives me crazy, we can play and hell be like wow when did we destroy top goal when we did it a min ago lol
I've found that you can also wait for the opponents to left their goals unguarded and hide in the bush nearby it, you can easily score goals this way maybe
@@RockstarGacha69 but most of the time it is the case And like if their's someone in your team guarding the goal and soon as the opponent would take fight with him most probably he won't look at the mini map and that'll be your chance to score
A big tip is definitely letting teammates take what they want. Not meaning let them do whatever, like if your teammate is taking jungle then you shouldn't take their farms. And if you keep going in to stack and die after, stop and stack later on when you can push with teammates.
I remember one time I’m playing as an azu and defending bottom 2nd goal from 2 opponents. I saw a mr mime at our base, checked and saw that they were on jumppad so I decided to stay there to stall and block their goals. As time passed, mr mime did not arrive. I could see him just standing at base on the minimap. I grew more and more worried as my health got depleted. I ended up dying. Mr mime was still on the jumpad. A few seconds later, he then decided to jump down. We lost that match
did anyone defends the top goal? that mr.mime might be waiting if anyone might show up on top, but well that mr.mime is a bad player for not checking your
i learned most of these before i watched this video. Just use your gaming sense and logic. I guess i need to learn more micro play. thanks for the great video
The only problem I have is having to deal with teammates who don’t understand this shit. So many bad players in this game, and I don’t understand how they’re getting paired with me.
I have played some mobas, Unite really different other games are all about destroying towers but scoring hits different, if you just stuck at enjoying kills then late game may change with zap
your solo Q mentality is correct but after playing with you last night, it was the reason we lost against a 5 stack. You have to learn how to play with the team and help secure objectives, show up for team fights, and rotate on time. It was 4v5 the whole game because you neglected to do these things and it would help you progress further to be more of a team player instead of trying to carry with Pikachu.
If it's the game I think you're thinking of, then I definitely could have done things different. However, that game in particular wasn't great all around. Our team comp was terrible. No one on our team seemed to play well, myself included. The reason I stayed bottom and farmed was so I could reach 9 and unlock my Unite move. I probably should have rotated, but I was also behind on levels. So I made the call to catch back up at the cost of the first Regielecki, in the hopes that next time we'd be able to win the fights. But the other team was not a 5 stack.
@@CinderRed i agree our team comp was bad, but it didn’t matter when it was 4v5 up top and the 1st Eleki that they got allowed them to steam roll and win the game from there. Even at Ray it was a 4v5, which could have been our only chance to come back and win the game. They may have not been a 5 stack but they definitely played like one/a team
I hate the mentality of “I don’t have ult so I’ll disregard a whole team fight that’s happening and farm to get my ult…” for what? By the time you get ur ult and try to make it halfway across the map, your team is dead. The other team now has all that exp from winning the 4v5… your ult literally will do nothing. They all now have ults/are evolved… you coulda leveled up by being present, using your CC/stuns to help your team secure ONE kill… which then will give you your ult, and turn the table in your teams favor… but, nah. 😂😅
Knowing when and when not to fight. When you are getting absolutely rolled, for example: two teammates not rotating, you are in a 2 vs 4 and the enemy are two levels higher than you. That is not a fight you will win 99% of the time. If you are that behind it's not worth contesting an objective. Or even defending to a certain extent, specifically if all you are going to do is get KO in 2 shots. This is even more relevant if you have fed twice. You are much better served attempting to coordinate, and if that's not possible, ripping farm to get on level. The only instance which this advice is worth ignoring is in the case of a counter push with ultimates.
This works when you play 5 vs 5 soloq otherwise we just have to shut our mouth and sit aside while waiting for the cooldown on surrender button to be reduced.
first of all: Very good Video. I know this Video is 9 month old already and maybe you would add something to some points to what you said already. or have a complete different Opinion on some points However I have 1-2 Points i am not agree with. first of all in your gameplay we saw you ulting right before the 2 minute mark. even if you are going down, I think it would be better to keep your unite at this point in most cases. the unite doesn't prevent you from dying, especially when you are outnumbered. The other one is, I would not say that Regieleki is better than the bottom regis in general. it's situational. I agree, pushing in Regieleki can give you a big advantage in Points and it can be worth pushing it in. But people really underestemate the bottom objectives. in general its better to do bottom regis when the goal regieleki would go in is at 20 points or less, because Regieleki will always score 20 points and will destroy the goalzone anyways so not very high value for the opposing team. And when Registeel is spawned I would always prioritize Bottom because the attack buff gives you a huge advantage in Teamfights.
its hard to win with bots in your team, im in master and sometimes I get paired with bots on my team, it's pretty sad that this game needs bots so that someone on the opposing team who is on a losing streak won't stop playing
From my own experience, the game only gives me bots when it takes more than 60 seconds to find a match. So I typically exit the queue if it gets to 40 seconds and then start a new search to guarantee I get human opponents.
@@CinderRed yeah maybe, the problem is sometimes I don't know if they are bots or just very bad, I get games that players do 10k damage, it's ridiculous
This was a great video! Bit I do have a few questions. How do I make sure we gain an advantage in the beginning of the fight when my teammates or enemies show up to Ray at whatever time and start a fight in a way that is just hot mess instead of my allies trying to start the fight at an advantage? (This is solo q I'm talking about ofc teammates will pick up s fight without thought) Also, If I see an enemy or two approaching to score when Ray is juuust about to spawn or has just about spawned, would going to fight them be a good idea to get an advantage? Or should I focus more on showing up to Ray on time?
It is a lot, but the more you put it into practice, the more it becomes 2nd nature and the less you'll have to think about it. I've got years of playing MOBAs, so I've had plenty of time to learn lol.
That's trueeeeeee, you'll get it eventually don't worry, I have played a MOBA for years too, start applying your knowledge and it'll become a habit💗😌✨.
Is it true that you absolutely have to play "carry characters" like Greninja and Cinderace, probably Absol and Zeraora only to succeed as a pure solo queue player? I hv heard top Unite creator saying that if you play SOlo Queue with Defenders and Supports, then you are "griefing your own game" as in its a suicide move, surefire to lose games
Not at all. There are plenty of very skilled Defender and Support mains who carry the team on their backs and win games. I actually lost a game the other day because our team was basically 5 Attackers. We had no way to hinder the enemy team. So every fight they'd just stun us and then we'd all get KO'd. CurlieQ is a Defender main who streams on twitch. I recommend checking out her stuff. She can carry a game as Mamoswine better than almost anyone I'd say.
Not entirely, you can win using other Pokémons, it mostly depends on who is using them. I carried using Eldegoss, I use damage items the best emblem I could have and full damage skills it's fun to just kite the enemy throwing whirlwind thingy at them and knock them airborne with Cotton something. You could easily chase them and pew pew them with the other 2nd skill with the Speed-up
Yes. Losing a bottom lane goal isn’t that big of a deal. Especially if it means your team has the advantage when it comes to securing Regielecki. Even if they take the first bottom goal, you’ll be able to take their first top goal, or pressure their 2nd top goal with Regielecki.
Best advice I can give is to try and lead your teammates using the quick chat options in the game. There's no way to stop someone from just straight up leaving the game, but if they look lost about what to do, or are just standing around, try pinging a couple of times. And some times you just have to make them listen with your plays, which isn't always easy. But people are more willing to listen/follow when they see what you're capable of.
@@CinderRed Use quick chat they seem don't care about it much, they just do their own thing, nearly lost the game they quit, they stuck at lvl 4 or lvl6 they don't even try leveling up just go ahead and dead, rank match to me the game match making 3 bot match in a row where real player well at least I free win, I do go up and down every time I dead giving my teammates advice what to do but they not very good so end up enemy team lvl13 and my team just lvl9 lvl10, it a circle around veteran 4 and 2 just go up and down
Expert class is so annoying, nobody understands the game or even paths. They dont pick a path and then start stealing my jungle and leaving bottom or top all alone. Everybody picks attacker. Veteran was pretty good but since season 10 started and im back to expert I keep getting queued with stupid people
Agree to disagree. With the right support, Greninja can do fine in a lane. People just automatically assume that it's an instant loss in lane because it takes longer to reach level 7 than if you took it into the center. Is it meta? No. Is it an instant loss? Also no. Would I take it into a ranked game? Probably not without a duo queue partner to support me. In Standard, however, I think it's totally fine, which is what that game was. We won that match, so as far as a negative win record, it hasn't happened yet lol.
@@CinderRed Are those solo Q players? How do you see those rankings? I only see rankings per character. I play a lot of defender/support in solo Q so I'm often at the mercy of my team mates who farm the jungle while Eleki is up lol
@@michaelcottrello I believe most of them are players who play with a 5-stack. In the game you can view total win rate if you’re friends with the person or at the end of a game when it shows the scores. There’s also a website called UniteAPI that will let you view win rates as well.
@@CinderRed Ah cool! I was wondering where everyone was getting this sort of info. The top solo Q player has 62% win rate, so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about my 56% at 1544 Master Rank
While he is best in the jungle, he can work in lane he has a lane partner who can support him. I only do this in Standard, though. Ranked games, it's jungle or I pick something else. Also wouldn't say I was throwing since I was doing well, and we ended up winning that match lol.
i think one of the most important "macro" based skill is playing around vision and thinking what you would do if you were the enemy
Very true. I probably could've touched a bit more on vision and using the camera.

Glad I can help!
Generally good tips
but for macro play there is another option which is rotation basically meaning moving from point A to B
And it’s important to try and min max each goal zone since that has won me some games before
Lastly if you are winning for the love of god don’t attack the 2:00 boss and opposite if you are losing
I very briefly mentioned rotating to help your jungler or to secure an objective, but chose not to go into detail because I feel like rotating for objectives deserves its own video. Rotating is super important on this new map, but these tips will apply to other maps in the game. Also just didn't wanna make the video too long lol.

very insightful guide. I've been struggling with solo que for a while now lol. Keep this up and you'll definitely have 10k+ subs in no time
Appreciate the kind words!
@@CinderRed YEYYYYYY thankyouuuu, I also played MLBB for years, which is made by the same company as this game I believe, Tencent✨
That makes sense. I have been watching a lot of LoL content in the hopes of finding knowledge and skills that I can transfer to my Unite gameplay.
@@seyproductions that's trueeeeeee, we can always carry that knowledge around and apply it to whatever game we are playing
✨Gamer IQ✨
A really horrible thing happened to me few months ago, my old account with 2000+ master rank (all solo que) was lost due to me forgetting to make an account and switching my device... 💀
Here are a few more macro tips:
Incredible video for a channel of your size. Voiceover, tips and examples were on point. Very happy this video and channel has been recommended to me
Thanks a lot! This one took a few days to put together lol. So I'm glad you enjoyed it.
thanks bro its a good guide, i sent this to my noob friend i hope he will listen to you, i tried telling him the same stuff that you said but he didnt listen, maybe hell listen to you lol he doesnt look at map while playing it drives me crazy, we can play and hell be like wow when did we destroy top goal when we did it a min ago lol
lol nice. appreciate you sharing it!
Thank you for this educational video hope many unite players benefit from this
That will actually help our team. Thank u. That’s even happening in teams so yh
Glad I could help!
Excellent guide. More players need to watch this and learn.
This should be required watching before you can play solo Q. Nice video, nice job, thanks for posting this!
I've found that you can also wait for the opponents to left their goals unguarded and hide in the bush nearby it, you can easily score goals this way maybe
This only works if they're not paying attention to their mini map when nearby, and if they aren't in the bush as well.
@@RockstarGacha69 but most of the time it is the case
And like if their's someone in your team guarding the goal and soon as the opponent would take fight with him most probably he won't look at the mini map and that'll be your chance to score
Man you are good! And underrated. I really like your mamoswine build.
Thank you! Mamoswine is a lot of fun.
8:30 lmao the machamp on your team baited the tyranitar for ages and then ran back to the goal and scored.
A big tip is definitely letting teammates take what they want. Not meaning let them do whatever, like if your teammate is taking jungle then you shouldn't take their farms. And if you keep going in to stack and die after, stop and stack later on when you can push with teammates.
This guy is tellin' some facts
Jut discovered you loving all the content so far!
Good guide! Wish more ppl will watch this
Very good explanations,i always heard about the macro and micro play styles but never understood a thing. Thanks!
Thanks for the guide, Didn't know it was around until now through.
Very informative video enjoyed it a lot keep it up
Amazing video, thanks!!
I wish more players watch this masterpiece ❤️ ,btw im in solo 1.2k points currently
Yo nice! Keep it up. And thank you.
hey..nice video..i agree with you
Thank you for this guide, these are super excellent tips! Good to know I've done some stuff right and great to know some areas I can work on!
I do all these things but my teammates don't. I lost 8 ranked games in a row the other day. And I also lost my passion for the game
Just got to 1600 solo only👌
I remember one time I’m playing as an azu and defending bottom 2nd goal from 2 opponents.
This will help out alot of players
I'd love to play with you sometime!
Maybe in the future I'll do games with subscribers or something!
@@CinderRed YEEEYYYYY the world will witness my Mosquito Glaceon 💙😌❄️✨
I'm on master 1700 + as a solo q player 😌
The only problem I have is having to deal with teammates who don’t understand this shit. So many bad players in this game, and I don’t understand how they’re getting paired with me.
I have played some mobas, Unite really different other games are all about destroying towers but scoring hits different, if you just stuck at enjoying kills then late game may change with zap
yesterday night i lost 6 games in a row because nobody showed up for the raquaza team fight but me, a 1v5 :(
Brilliant video 👍
Thank you very much for this video. It was really helpful 🙏

your solo Q mentality is correct but after playing with you last night, it was the reason we lost against a 5 stack.
This is a good video tho!
This should be required viewing before someone takes on Ranked Play.
The only instance which this advice is worth ignoring is in the case of a counter push with ultimates.
good video
Nah, Imma go bottom and get regice now.
I tried to follow this advice but my teammates keep running it down
i wish all master players watched this video since most are brain dead
Tips don't make sense if ur not the only one playing
I just play cinderace in the jungle
Then why do my teammates keep surrendering even though you are playing well?
i should've watched it with a pen and paper cause this was too confusing but understood 70% of it
If only everyone could watch this video lol
Will this work if i got 3 afks for last 5 minutes?
I am stucked at 14k rating. It feels like I'm cursed.
Well its simple, buy a charizard, max out leftovers and spend 100k USD. You are all set!
This was a great video!
Bit I do have a few questions.
How do I make sure we gain an advantage in the beginning of the fight when my teammates or enemies show up to Ray at whatever time and start a fight in a way that is just hot mess instead of my allies trying to start the fight at an advantage? (This is solo q I'm talking about ofc teammates will pick up s fight without thought)
Also, If I see an enemy or two approaching to score when Ray is juuust about to spawn or has just about spawned, would going to fight them be a good idea to get an advantage? Or should I focus more on showing up to Ray on time?
getting to master and high master rating is not that difficult. I have seen people with 40% win rate getting 1800 master points
It’s good but it’s like doing 1000 stuff in your head and getting it wrong atleast for me
It is a lot, but the more you put it into practice, the more it becomes 2nd nature and the less you'll have to think about it.
You could easily chase them and pew pew them with the other 2nd skill with the Speed-up
What to do when your teammates only steal farm and never come for objective
Why do my teammates keep running it down
do you think is worth it to go as 5 on Regieleki instead of letting 1 defending botlane base ?
Yes. Losing a bottom lane goal isn’t that big of a deal. Especially if it means your team has the advantage when it comes to securing Regielecki. Even if they take the first bottom goal, you’ll be able to take their first top goal, or pressure their 2nd top goal with Regielecki.
I live in Asean, and most of people dont know how to play this game and just trolling. I am sad and frustrasted playing this game solo 😢
Yo tenks I was alredy prity good with my atacker pokemon but now I am eaven beter and lost almost non of games
What’s a jungle?
Bad teammates idling teammates now 46.8% win rate on rank match, standard 78% quick match 80%, how do I win if it keeps happening
@@CinderRed Use quick chat they seem don't care about it much, they just do their own thing, nearly lost the game they quit, they stuck at lvl 4 or lvl6 they don't even try leveling up just go ahead and dead, rank match to me the game match making 3 bot match in a row where real player well at least I free win,
I do go up and down every time I dead giving my teammates advice what to do but they not very good so end up enemy team lvl13 and my team just lvl9 lvl10, it a circle around veteran 4 and 2 just go up and down
What is solo q somebody pls tell me
its sad that you can't really train on standart matches, or is too easy or 2 teammates gets afk
Expert class is so annoying, nobody understands the game or even paths. They dont pick a path and then start stealing my jungle and leaving bottom or top all alone. Everybody picks attacker. Veteran was pretty good but since season 10 started and im back to expert I keep getting queued with stupid people
Tip 1: dont steal lane people already selected.
Easy recipe for disaster
I am at rank 1750, and I can say this with an absolute certainty. If you are playing greninja in lane you are not going to have a good win record.
Do you really have a 90% win rate lol
I’m at the same part of master rank as you and I’m like 55% overall
Haha I wish. However, if you look at the top of the leaderboards, there are players with win rates in the 90s.
You are throwing your game by making greninja go in a line. He should be in jungle
Also do a greninja surf build
While he is best in the jungle, he can work in lane he has a lane partner who can support him. I only do this in Standard, though. Ranked games, it's jungle or I pick something else. Also wouldn't say I was throwing since I was doing well, and we ended up winning that match lol.
