God's promised land is heaven. If we live right, live in truth we can start by experiencing heaven on earth. Taking sides does not help. Those who srive for peace are called Children of God. The Jewish people are the indigenous people of Israel. The Jewish people were living inthis land 2100 years before anyone was called Palestinian. The composition of people In the land we call Palestine now in the biblical time is not the same as it is now. So there is no point of referencing the situation now against the narrative in the old testament. Religious people need to update their knowledge before misleading other people.

God's promised land is heaven. If we live right, live in truth we can start by experiencing heaven on earth. Taking sides does not help. Those who srive for peace are called Children of God. Israel is made up of Palestinians and Hebrews sharing that piece of war riddled land, from the beginning of times. Why did Jesus Christ who was born in Bethlehem and named Emmanuel decide to change his name at the age of about 30 years to go by the new Roman name Jesu Christo? The Jewish people are the indigenous people of Israel. The Jewish people were living inthis land 2100 years before anyone was called Palestinian. And they were living in this land 2600 years before the Islam religion even existed. Archeological evidence also backs up this truth. Referenced in this stele is "Israel". Additionally, there is the Mesha Stele, also known as the Moabite Stele dating from around 840 BCE. This stele contains a Canaanite inscription referencing the "Kingdom of Israel". From 586 BC, the time of the Babylonian captivity, until 1948 AD, the Jewish people were dispersed from that land and they were killed and oppressed around the world. For those Jews who managed to stay their homeland, they were dominated by numerous other world empires up until 1948. So who are the Palestinians; where is the word Palestine derived from? In 135 AD, the Roman emperor Hadrian, in order to quash a Jewish revolt, dispersed the Jew from Jerusalem and then he renames the entire region, in latin, Palestina. Correct, Scripture states the Israelistes (freed from slavery) took the land already inhabited by the Canaanites (Numbers 13) - whom they later enslaved...
Canaan fought back, so:
- The Jews proposed a "Deal with God": God was persuaded.(?) and "... turned over the Canaanites; then they utterly destroyed them and their cities." (Numbers 21). This was a 'special colonialism' because the his-story alleges God 'sanctioned' the deal and the Jews paid their price in the lives and infrastructure of the Canaanites (which God obviously had use for, else he wouldn't contract).
- Then the Jews "Israel took all these cities, and Israel lived in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon and in all her villages." - without Divine sanction.
- Then there was "The Slaughter of Midian" [Numbers 31] All Medianite Men, non-virgins and boys, and the pludner and destruction of cities - again commanded by God, and the survivors and loot divided - including 10% for God (who appears to need refills from time to time).
Numbers 33 summarizes the history, giving God the blame for blackmailing the Israelites : "... drive out the inhabitants of the land ... or they will trouble you .... And just as I plan to do to them, I will do to you.’” All this 'history' repeats in Deuteronomy 3.
- Again Deuteronomy 7 affirms the acts attributed to God, and the destruction of " the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you.
- But then it gets better, God declares to Israel: " the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His personal possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. - THUS, also affirming that
- non-Israelits are NOT his property. and
- That other nations have their own gods (v: 16). and
- Unlike other nations Israel may only serve him (It is a 1000 generations deal), and none of the other gods other nations may pick from.
- And thus Israel is contracted / enslaved to this God who will deciamte them if they do not keep to the deal.
- BUT, by Deut 9 Israel breaks the deal - BUT God does NOT destroy them as promissed (terms of contract) - thanks to Moses' out-negoting Him...

It is all hard to tell, but if He is making good on the covenant promises as per the Old Testament, then the end times are still a way off.
If He is not, and did indeed break his covenant (again), then I am happy I am not one of his possessions, and that no God, or a different God owns me.
Such other Gods may also make deals and kill humans to help their people/posessions - The wheel turns...
Given so much of the Old Testament appears in older scriptures , I am not sure it should be taken as history.

I am from Papua New Guinea in the South West Pacific. My view is that this Arab Israeli conflict was created by their ancestor father Abraham.He issued Isaac from his lawful wife & Ismael from his maid. Isaac was blessed & Ismael was cursed. These are brothers fighting for their rightful inheritance
. Only their biblical father can resolve this issue. Thanks.
