Which really gained steam, since 2020. Indie entertainment is really making subtle ripples that’s challenging mainstream entertainment/media. Giving audiences a chance to step off the beaten path, and explore something unique from creators that’ve been fans of their respective mediums. By fans, for fans. After Indie gaming made waves, indie animation felt like the aftershock of ripples on the pond.
Ive seen great indie animated spectles, such as Helluva Boss, Murder Drones, Hazbin Hotel, Meta Runner, Lackadaisy, Gods' School, The Amazing Digital Circus, and just recently, Long Gone Gultch. Im curious to check this new project out

Love how everything is going so far. Im intrigued by the sound production, the passion and thoughts to what the people behind Among the Others have to share. I truly believe that the show being run independently will do great. What makes me have even more hopes that this series will be (some what) worth the hype is how similar it can be compared to (let's say) Arcane. We have a fictional world filled with characters that has human attributes like facial expressional, vocal change in emotion, adapts us to the characters environment. Considering that both shows revolve around a fictional world where the characters can manipulate and create using what the fictional world has to offer; The animation, sound production, and writing can be used more GOATED (These are my ideas). Animation: It can look sharp and smoother, theres nothing wrong with how the background looks or the characters. Maybe if the animation can support that 4K crystal clear look, (ooooh!) and make it support HDR (High Dynamic Range), then I would consider Among the Others an Arcane Masterpiece. Sound Production: the music and sounds used to make this series are beautiful and ear pleasing. I don't know too much info on the audio production, so id have suggestions like having the series support Spacial Audio (Dolby Atmos/Surround Sound). If we can have that in the series (or if we already do) then it boosts the quality of the show. Other than that, music and audio is perfect for the show. Writing: (this one is just a personal bug of mine) considering I haven't hear the characters dialogue, I don't have much of an opinion besides characters better be naturally cut off, have the characters convos be natural themselves, and all in all have the writing feel more human. Id even go as far as to say I would be more than down to support the show, and If it's possible, I'll support the best way I can (Im an Audio Engineer and Music Producer).

What's the episode duration and how many are planned?
The episodes vary in length! Generally between 7-20 min. We have four episodes in the works for the prologue season. 😁
