I love Sebastian's dead-tired-of-being-the-only-adult vibe.
Holy shit dude, this is phenomenal. It's insanely dynamic, the colors are beautiful, the voice acting is Grade A, the designs are hella fun, and the entire concept of getting possessed by the skull of your friends dead grandma is funny as all hell. Awesome job!!
Plus all the jokes are funny. Like, seriously. The guy had been carrying his home phone the whole travel to the grandma's house. Freaking love it.
The character designs and voices? Amazing. The fact the phone line keeps endlessly extending to follow Sebastian? I'm living for it. The realization of possession ONLY after a kit-kat was eaten wrong? Perfection. Exaggerated old western standoff pose and deep-voiced "Wah-tur"? Loved it. "Oh, you guys found my grandma." "..Dude."? Pinnacle. The weird obsession with fish paintings in the background that can be missed if you don't look closely? A minor detail that makes me appreciate it so much more. Anyways to sum it up, this is the best thing I've laid witness to today.

GOD I WANT A TV SHOW OF THIS. The art style is so cool, the humor is on point (my absolute favorite is the guy dragging the phone wire all around the world, idk why its what made me giggle the most) , the characters are cool, interesting and hilarious. The animation is so smooth and cartoony and over the top. I love their interactions. I love everything about this. WHEN DO WE GET A TV SHOW?? I’ve actually watched this at least 10 times. It’s gotten to the point where youtube just constantly recommends this to me... and I watch it every time. Also, I just love all the subtle details like “is this a diary?” (Also that cat is not pure evil. He is precious. I don’t care how many people he’s killed.)

This animation kinda reminds me of another Thesis Animation I saw called “Ramshackle” like yesterday. The characters are all hilarious, the animation styles both have that homey vibe that at the same time pulls you in. Plus, the both made me die of laughter for 10 minutes straight after watching them. Both amazing animations, you’ve just gained a new sub my friend! Totally wanna see more stuff from you!
Funny part is that both this animation and Ramshackle have a few of the same voice actors in it.

Hey so, I go to the school where those two films were made and to answer your question; both these students are in the same year, and also friends! The school is Sheridan College, known for their prestigous animation program. In fourth year, students spend both semesters working on a thesis film; Ramshackle and Scattershot are two out of about 150 that get produced every year! Basically, if you ever see a short animated film on youtube and there is an "S" at the end, it was made at Sheridan College!
This inspired me to animate more and YES!!!! it looks so same bro!
