I absolutely love Hamami and La Tierra Mojada. Both are just sublime ! For what it's worth, the splash on Hamami has less of the wet stone note and more of saffron floral notes. It's perfectly wearable and utterly enjoyable !
Yeah I’ve considered getting the matching aftershave but I’ve already got so many I could pair with it. Aftershaves usually vary slightly from the soap anyway.
Nice one Ben. Enjoyed the info in the Turkish bath. Had no idea. I had a bum GSB today which is rare so I can relate to your Nacet. I tossed it immediately - I never endure or play around. See you on the next one.
Great shave man! This soap always caught my eye, but I never pulled the trigger. Love the creativity behind the scent. Noble otter was always a hit and miss brand for me. I got a sampler pack a while back and the only scent I liked was barrbarr. Although Eric sent me a tub of the noir et vanille that I really enjoy. La Tierra mojada smells amazing to me, and my fiancé enjoys it a lot too. I agree though, definitely a polarizing scent. But I love that stuff. Have a great day brother ✌️
Yeah oddly I’ve had the same issue, where a lot of the Noble Otter scents are just peculiar… Like they don’t make a lot of sense. But hey, points for creativity.
Great shave, Ben! I only have barbershop from Noble Otter, but that one sounds pretty good! I also have Wapiti from A A Shaving and it has a real strong wet stone scent, at least to my nose, and I kinda like it!..may have to try this one out then! Take care👍
Great video, Ben. I have NO Rawr and Plunder: both are excellent IMHO. Might try Hamami next. Why not? Loved your description of the Turkish Bath. No happy endings there, I’m guessing (and there certainly wouldn’t be one if you farted during the preliminary process). I’ve mentioned before that the Progress just doesn’t do it for me. I never get a decent shave from mine - maybe because I can never get the blade to sit straight. I reckon your problem wasn’t the Nacet, it was the blade alignment in the rough as guts Progress! Cheers 👍🪒
I took a look for a while after you said something, my Progress doesn’t appear to have alignment issues, it’s good to go. It might be a problem with yours. It’s a complicated razor that’s made with low quality parts so it wouldn’t surprise me.
Thanks for the Turkisk bath run-down, I had no idea what it is like. I don't currently have any NO soaps but had a few before and they performed well, that Hamami scent would not be for me though.🤟🤠🤟
Great shave, Ben. I have some catching up to do with your videos as I’ve had a crazy (but good) past few weeks. I know I asked you a while ago but forget what you said. How much longer are you overseas?
Hi Ben, Hamami is one of my all time favorites. I get more florals than wet stone. By the way, did you find that your Shavemac brush was tougher to break in than other badgers? Taking me forever with mine. Best regards, Glenn
Love the Progress! It's good for daily or a weeks growth. Always great content. New tattoo on your hand?
Yeah I think the Progress is a good beginner razor. I’d like to think people stick with it for a while rather than buying a bunch of razors.

Nice looking shave, have a great weekend when you get to it.
Thanks for watching Justin!

If I really wanted the best shaves day after day, I know what the formula and combination is. I have that filed away for future use.
@@soapthing so I have to ask - what is that combo?
@@RonnieYates Probably the Lupo .72 with a Gillette Minora.
@@soapthing I’ll try it. I like the Gillette plat with that razor.

Yeah it’s pretty heavy on the mineral notes. If you like that sorta thing then this is right up your alley.

Yeah it’s a polarizing scent no doubt. Noble Otter is cool, you should get your hands on one and give it a try.

I have until May 2024. So I have a while. Sounds like you were busy, I hope all is well.
Hi. Nice shave and man, a laughed a lot 😂 mma fighter woman, animal fart 😂 by the way, have your sold all your pre shave products you used ?
No I still have my pre shave stuff sitting around collecting dust. Glad you enjoyed the video!
"She's got that kind of horsepower behind her."
"Don't fart, don't fart, don't fart."
"Icky animal farts."
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Ben! 😂
Glad I could entertain.
“Metric assload”. Can’t say I heard this one before. I’ll have to use it. Wet stone scent is not for me especially that much.
Yeah it’s got a serious mineral not that’s not for everybody. But that’s just how it goes.
Indeed is finicky. Bloom the damn thing 😂
I don’t put water in soap tubes or tub load. That’s a hardcore no.
Just don’t drop the soap in a Turkish bath. 😮
Ahahahaha you’re despicable 🤨.

My Shavemac broke in about the same as any other brush. I didn’t notice a serious difference.
