Tomac knew even if he won the race and Dungey finished 2nd then he wouldn’t win the championship. Tomac slowed down to let Dungey pass him then knocked Dungey off the track. To me (Tomac fan) I think it was dirty to do that but at the same time it was championship time. He didn’t t bone him or anything to make him fall. Webb is in the same boat. Pushing somebody wide is called a block pass which is not dirty at all! And I don’t even think you would call that a block pass. They both happened to get a really good jump off the gate and Eli was on the outside and they both had a lot of momentum going into the corner which pushed them wide.
ive been riding my whole life as a pro racer i do MX + hard enduro, u talk bullshit man, if u slide like that on a start u might let 2 or 3 bikes pass! u might even fall.. every start needs to be full throttle for ur own saftey, block pass not on starts + block pass means u take ur opponents line not hitting them like that!

Webb gets the flu in the beginning of the year and lands on his back right on concrete, still riding good. Roczen has breathing problems and the shingles and still rides to a win. What if Webb and Roczen felt perfect? Eli was losing time at the end of the race in his element(elevation). So if Tomac cant even ride that good in his perfect conditions and Webb and Roczen beat him. That goes to show how much more heart and determination Webb and Roczen have than Tomac.
Interesting comment, I think ure right, let them race when all are on 100%, I think roczen and tomac will beat Webb on raw speed, but they will battle for sure. Cause of roczen heater laps at the first few rounds I do think that his raw speed is even faster than tomacs, but tomac doesn't take much from roczen and he can keep his speed way more consistent, at this point, his fitness is just better today. On red bull straight rhythm where the speed and technique matters I will always put my money on roczen 100%
