A good old school gun.... you don't let the spring off like that when you load with pellets, otherwise the lead pellets could distort and get a malfuction

There was 3 main variants of this gun. 1st : open end co2 cap. 2nd : piercing cap no button. 3rd: piercing cap with push button piercing. There was a SEARS model and a 677 plink-o-matic - a bb firing version that MIGHT fire .177 pellets.

I thought you said back off 1/ 4 of turn after loading & screwing tight to co2 cylinder . All other sites say to just screw tight. Why back off a 1/4 turn?

Actually it should be 1/8 as stated in the owners manual support.crosman.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/201589100/C600-OM.pdf

I liked your video I was happy to see your trigger looks like mine, a bit chewed up. I'm thinking the casting of the aluminum trigger wasn't working
for Crosman. And this may be why they went to the steel trigger. I have a near mint 600 and the trigger looks like it was mishandled. Looking at yours
they look the same. What is the serial number on your gun? I'm thinking it must be a first production like mine,

Later in the 3rd variant life cycle they changed the trigger. I've never seen a chewed up one(maybe a trigger shoe was fitted?). I've owned 5 or 6 of these and have the three variants- one with bulk fill. Things you spend money on when single. These usually have good triggers-no need for a shoe. Have fun shooting.

& after loading pellets don't you cock mechanism so gun accepts 1st pellet then fire at will?

    It’s a 177 calibre not a .22
