Your thorough overview is appreciated. I recently was gifted a later model, as yours is, complete with box, original powerlettes and box of pells. It still had an expired cylinder in it and five in the mag. It was only used once since purchase in the sixties. I am faced with a seal replacement and look forward to a video from yourself. Take care.
I have the same variant 600 with its sintered steel trigger, button safety and blue-black finish. Mine has the turnback filling cap. These are an interesting design which sometimes can be very temperamental. Thanks for another great video. Mine works faultlessly with Crosman Ultra Magnum.
It took me a few days to remember and look it up. It was a benjamin Sheridan eb22 that i had. And it was very similar to that. Well crossman owns the sheridan designs and still make them under different names. So i wonder if that is crossman's semi auto upgrade to the eb22 design.
Part 1 was a good vid. And they just get better as I run through them. Mine has a pin in the cap to pierce the co2 capsule. You twist the cap down then just release it, just under half a turn to release the gas. If you don't mind me saying, it's always nicer to watch vids done by chaps of a similar age to me.
Have segmented straps like radio tuner type clock but too anticlockwise controlled, where the pellets will fit in at every segment of the strap ( same chassis as this) and after every shot one would twist the knob to bring the next one to the barrel slot
....Subscribed.... thanks for posting, I would like to know where I can buy some spare seals for the end cap, my 600 is the later model than the one in the video......
My grandson just received one of these from his grandfather but not sure if it has all the correct parts or missing any parts. Is there a chance of emailing you a few pictures to let us know what model / year it might be and if it is missing pieces ? It looks like it perhaps might be.
I have one of these, I was 12 when I got it as a present., just turned 70. always a fun pistol, eats co2 cartridges, about 25-30 shots each as I remember. Mine seems to throw a pellet out of the loading port every few rounds unless you are watching the port and push the hang ups back in. Any Ideas on that? It is for sale if anyone wants it. with factory holster. thanks for the video, memory lane!
Seal kits never include a firing pin seal I modified a crosman polyurethane seal to fit as the old old was rock hard and passing gas.. The best way to shoot this gun ( The purists won't like this ) is to fit a weaver rail to the top and attach a laser, it's far quicker and easier to aim at a target..
@@verdisw then you don't need to feel jealous of yourself - if you already had one when you got the second. I've got an old hurricane - it's ugly but I love it.
Wow this system was way ahead of its time. Its better than most modern guns. Jolly good old boy cheers!!!

Bonjour monsieur, ou acheter ce Crosman 600 semi-automatique en calibre 22 ? Cordialement.
Je suis à la recherche d'un crosman 600 semi-automatique calibre 5,5mm , depuis fort longtemps. Cordialement.
The pistol has turned from black to blue ?
its just the lighting, the metal is a blue colour, in poor light the video cam pics it up as black

No ... it should cock without a CO2 cartridge fitted
What's this gun worth these days?
