In desperation on vacation I had fresh veggies lots of zucchini, onion, peppers, garlic carrots with me. I had a Ramen in the pantry and 8 pks of take out soy sauce. When veggies were 3/4 done I added a pk of ramen in the center with water cooked for a few minutes then tossed . Made the zukes heavenly. Great frugal stir fry meal
Great fun watching. I still remember the time the Jack in the Box burnt down. Sad but that dumpster dive had to be the best ever. Don't know how long we ate on that. Plus there was enough that we shared with our best friend and he shared with a few more. Pay it forward always.

Good morning! I envy you your mountain of truffles. Chocolate is my drug. I'm addicted to it! There was a lot of interesting things in that haul. I love my Dollar tree.
In the uk we called those fruit filled biscuits garibaldies but ours are just raisin I think. Good haul and it reminded me I need nail polish remover lol.
I love my pair of glasses with only one "ear piece" because it is the only one that stays at my desk. When I have a complete pair, I always seem to walk away from my desk with them on my head and leave them elsewhere. With only one side, I can't wear them...and lose them! -v

Donald duck orange juice is delicious! Also, those raisin biscuits are so good. They used to have them years ago, and we tried some of the biscuits today, and they are not too bad.
You should see what resterants have their oil for cooking delivered in. They destroy them every week unless you ask them for them.

One eRly spring, a mama squirrel let her babies come out and play. I had a big bag of dried fruit. So I put a pile o. My bird bath. I often put treets on , since it was cracked, and the wild life would come and eat.the mama squirrel showed her babies where to get the food. This one baby grabbed a apricot. He sat up and had it in his little hands , and I swear he was saying "num, num, num as he munched on it. I got it on video, but on an old phone that I ran over it with my car, when it fell out of my pocket.

An idea for the pepper pantry that I just saw on Facebook is putting a tent on your bed and using blankets for insulation inside will keep the family warm if we lose power

Daddy has to be extremely careful at how he disposes the antifreeze that may still be in the bucket. Antifreeze is deadly to animals. All it takes is one lick and it can kill a dog or cat. It is sweet tasting so animals love it.

Make sure when you clean out the buckets no animals are around and the waste water gets dumped down the toilet. Nice haul!
My frugal family yiu can use the 5 gallon buckets to hold 25 pound bags of sugar, flour, rice, cornmeal, beans etc place food in Mylar bags then in the. Bucket with a lid

Love the fence! I was just thinking of all the hiding places for the truffles. Can remember coming home from Halloween and sorting candy by type and putting each in tins. FD must have a really nasty bruise from running into that metal. An unexpected, sharp, and unforgiving, immovable object!

Great haul! I've gotten the litter and sadly my cat didn't care for it. Made more mess than actual use. The fruit biscuits tasted stale: but; they'll do in a pinch.

They haven't had those truffles in my Dollar Tree for a while those are very good those are supposed to be comparable to lint lint truffles but they're real they're pretty damn good I like them good pretty good haul that was a good haul and most of it you can eat that's awesome Amy

Those biscuits are very dry, we have something similar here in the uk sort of like garrabaldi biscuits you'll need a good cup of tea

I used to love those sunshine raisin biscuits. They seemed very natural ,no sugar added.
