A family friend suddenly started having horrendous headaches and it turned out she had been cutting hydrangeas and they have cyanide in them, so be careful with your hydrangeas🙏I never knew about the cyanide😮….

You could add some chives or herbs with the egg and the same with the potato to give flavour - also what a lovely find all that food that you grew yourself and the garden is good with weeds sometimes because they add water to the food plants even though you don't realise - it is really rewarding growing food - yum

Your garden is doing great. Vegetables taste so good when they are homegrown. The Apples are doing great. Gardening is exciting when the first plants come up and then harvesting. My garden did better this year as opposed to last year. Heat caused some issues. I had same problem with my potatoes last year. Not a high yield and small. I put bone meal and compost and egg shells in those beds. Haven’t harvested yet. My plants are still green. I hope it helped. I think you’ve got the same problem. Try adding egg shells to where you are going to plant for next year. Growing your own food is so much more satisfying. I’ve got green beans, beets, and tomatoes I turned into sauce with gardening peppers and onion to can today. My carrots this year are great. First time I’ve grown pumpkins that I could harvest! Heat killed my zucchini and watermelon plants and severally stressed the cucumber plants. Made 10 jars of pickles and ate fresh cucumbers. Got a little from them. Good luck! So sad they cut those trees down. ❤️🧡💙💚🩷🦋🦋🦋

Oh my gosh the butternut squash!!!! How exciting for sure. I love watching digging up potatoes. And no matter how little the haul it' going to be yummy. Hash browns and eggs yummm. Well you got some amazing going on in there. I love the orchard. I love everything. If you ever get a chance James pirgioni is a small space gardener I think on 1/4 acre you might enjoy watching him a bit. He grows everything including fruit trees and just has lots and lots of good tips. He does small containers and has evolved to different beds but if you look at his older stuff he used every square inch of space like you are and he has worked out bumps. So you might enjoy. The hashbrowns and eggs and tomatos..look so good. hugs
❤looks like my jungle! The volunteer cherry tomatoes are producing more than the ones I planted! Not many I f mine have grown anything! Banana peppers are producing more than the bell peppers! I have potatoes growing in grow bags with plants still intact, so I'll leave them to grow more! I have to grow in raised beds or pots per rules of our mobile home park, and im just seeing what I can't kill! We still have about 2 months left so I'm leaving most things alone! Hopefully to grow something ! The weeds and crabgrass grow the best! Lmao! Hopefully we don't have to rely on it for all our food or we shall surely starve too! Happy gardening Frugal mommy! The deer ate all of my hydrangea plants. And ate on the tomato plants. The squirrels shredded the rest of my tomato plants. This year I have only oregano, some basil, and rosemary plants left. Your yard/gard3n looks great.
Need to trim your fruit trees to your height and you need to fertilize the ground for the roots it help fruit and cutting creates growth into the fruit and not a tree . It took my years tell I was shown and upset I didn't know and my trees got to tall they had to be taken out. Your yard and home are very beautiful and your all a joy.
Hello everyone from Oregon. I did a post on cooking my bread. It was everyone wanted more. I have so much zucchini and was given two bags of big sweet Cherry's I cut the front off the seed and made zucchini/cherry it's delicious make sure you always check never over cook your bread.
You cannot give men any instructions, they forget them as soon as you walk out the door. To make up, FD needs to go dumpster diving and not come back until he has a car full of bounty. I would also make him forfeit his afternoon naps for a month.
Frugal Mommy and the twins are back home, YEAH 👍 The plants missed your green care. But there's not much to save when there's too much rain... In Germany the farmers said we had too much rain 🌧️ in spring so the they'll harvest only about a third of apples 🍏 this year compared to last year. So the prices will rise 😢.
When the potato plants start dying they are made and the potatoes are ready to dig.

Epsom salts on roses works as well. Have FD find some in a dumpster for you. I just toss a handful at a time on.

You need a basket to harvest your produce. I love to see all the stuff together in a basket.
FM Put the butternut squash on something (cardboard, plastic) so they don't rot on the ground
It's easier to weed when the ground is WET
