But did you try the "Party shaker"? Everyone in the party runs a pepper shaker and shares either a heavy gunner or shotgun perk. Everyone gets an extra 60% damage boost since theirs a total of 6 cards to choose from instead of just 3. Or thanks to the dual nature of the pepper shaker use a mixture of the other perks to get the most dps and faster reload or stagger possible. Either way it's a blast ;) to try with some friends😄

Wish they would have shown the pepper shaker some love this meat week. Prime receivers, new elements or even a skin would have been sweet.
Crippling got a minor boost with the latest update: previously, when you crippled a legendary enemy, its limbs healed when it regenerated, now you need to cripple it only once.
As a quad, faster fire rate faster reload peepershaker owner. It's an amazingly fun gun.
As soon as I got it, I discarded my double barrel shotty. LOL
I think the most interesting thing I saw was that the legendary effects are listed individually as mod slots, which suggests that Bethesda is already thinking ahead about allowing you to change individual legendary effects without having to change all at once.

The regen on the vampires is ridiculous 😂
I use mine at encrypted and link to all 3 pylons, with the imposter smacking me. Still won't die.

I happened upon a Vampire Pepper Shaker at a player vendor for pretty cheap. I bought it and a bunch of other stuff because my caps were maxed out. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but appreciate your insight on the weapons and best perks for using it. I'm going to try a build to take advantage of its abilities.
We need an updated video showcasing Executioners on the bosses that don't regen.
I really think exe weapons still not in top tier, 50% damage bonus is easily reached by junkies/aristocrat/bloodied and the racial improvements.
And considering that the bosses will take longer to reach 50% of the health ... you would lose a lot of dps until executer effect got useful.

You do realize that you can carry more than 1 weapon right? It's possible to use AA or bloodied for the first 60% then burn with the Exe. Exe when active tops both in damage , but you know that , right?

I'm currently saving up my Legendary mods to try and get 3 star Vampire placed on my new pepper shaker. I love my vampire guns and chainsaw _soooo_ much!

That's relatively cheap! I would pay that even with the event going on, because its a PITA to get it to drop even with an event

I've been using a pepper shaker forever, but I had no idea about the projectile speed thing. I'm going to have to try switching from plasma to laser.
I’ve been wanting to get this weapon since I learned of it so I can use it as my scorchbeast crippler for my melee characters. Also, I believe you can buy the plans from Regs and probably the Raiders vendor too, not just Settlers vendor.
No mention that explosive variety isn’t an option!… naughty turtle! 😂
I will see what I will get and what not, surely I want weapon plan and possibly keep some randomly dropped legendary one, way back then when I started to play, some random guy gave me one but I had no carry capacity and level to use it and I assumed weapons be just possible to find or craft so I sold it to scrip machine
camp plans are usually interesting thing even if selection system sucks-a-lot in Fo76, so they may get never used no matter how amazingly great those are either

The pepper shaker is great for group crowd control. Its similar to mei's freeze gun where it slows down enemies.

Run a quad faster fire plasma and love it. Huge field of fire to get hits and cripples everything.
Running Vampper Shaker w/ stangler heart power armor and a dedicated stangle pepper perk load out. It's amazingly fun, een if it's not rhe most deadly.
I just switched to carnivore build for meat week 😩 This build looks fun to use especially with so many Perks available.

One of the only guns in the game, where your choice of the mob barrels on it each have a purpose each try to use case scenario usually there’s just like several things that you never use one thing that you always use and that may be one thing is circumstances are just right, but this one you know if you’re using wrangler do you want the single barrel? Definitely no no other option the lowest damage but it’s also adding poison on every shot that’s picking down over three seconds 1043 seconds for each pallet. It’s stackable for each shot fix poison at once down devastating and PVP for somebody who doesn’t have poison. Resist you lost to fight before even startedthat you can choose like turtles, fat, or the flower firing but higher damaging one or if you have a lot of ammunition faster
In fallout universe shoutgun bullets travel faster than lasers???
I surely miss my Quad Explosive shaker. Explosive shakers should be in the game for ALL to enjoy.
If you need plasma ammo, take a plasma caster into daily ops. The damage per shot will have you gaining potentially hundreds of ammo, especially if you focus headshots.
"If you don't have any modifications, you purchase plans for Pepper Shaker modifications at Foundation, from Samuel."
You may also purchase modifications from Mortimer in Crater - I prefer Mortimer, because you can just warp to the Crater Core, turn to the left, and he's right there. In contrast, Samuel requires a trek through Foundation, or warping to the Interior, and sitting through a loading screen.
The pepper shacker is a great mob killer but without quad can be a bit of a pain with its small capacity :-) i lile this gun but quad is a must..unless you use it as a vampire weapon and then its useful too
I've been using the combat shotgun in the same way for a while now. I had no idea Pepper Shaker was a shotgun, too.
This will replace that old shotgun.
Already have the pepper shaker plan just want more of them to sell. More interest in the camp plans. I also sell fully moded pepper shakers for people without the plan

Been using vampire faster fire rate for a while. You can't die with it, literally impossible. Weak as hell though in that configuration. I want to get an anti armor one now. Wish they'd let it roll explosive with the buckshot magazine.
I’ve had an Anti Armor with the 25 fast fire rate once but ended up rolling a Quad which ended up being way better
Pepper Shaker + 3 Star Enforcer perk = Getting those Cripple daily/weekly’s done EASY MODE! ❤🤘

I keep one on my main character to cripple the queens wings. That's all I really use it for. Does the job hellla goood, great if you wanna solo the beast
You should also try it with strangler heart lots of pvpers uncludijg myself use it and if people don’t have funky duds they get 1 tapped. In pve try a two shot with formula p and see how much acid it does to anything
Im excited for new plans this year, pepper shaker never really wowed me even with both damage perk cards on it still was kinda meh but thats just me
The only use I’ve ever had for it is a Vampires as a secondary weapon for when health gets low..

I recently came across one of these from the Legendary Super Mutant and I'm wondering if I should play with it.
I play as a stealth sniper, with a Gauss gun, and for short distances I use a Gauss shotgun and I have perks for shotguns and rifles, plus energy perks.

just got a Quad 25% WS 25% Vatsreduction pepershaker drop from a 3 star a moment ago randomly (insane) and man im curious if it will maybe be good in vats only costs 25 so not terrible haha

I want to like it but the damage output is poor.
I love this gun and still run it but its too damn weak for the amount of ammo you're using up. I'm all for trade-offs but the dev team needs to give it some love

Its a bit ridiculous that in order to deal any real damage you have to be low health with maxed out perk cards. I think too many people cried that enemies were too easy. This is why we can't have nice things!

You always leave your level out of builds. Some one at a level with your full build , wind be getting your damage. Until that are your LEVEL

Man, when this released everyone wanted one, then we found out it's a pretty mediocre gun when put up against all other heavy guns/shotguns
I know what you are saying but it doesn’t look mediocre when the mighty turtle uses it. I use a vampire on my melee girl for crippling ranged. Works well.
I honestly think the reason why the pepper shaker is so weak is just because they made it benefit from so many different perks that it had to be so weak

This game trolls me all the time. Played for 2 months never saw a Pepper Shaker plan at any player vendors and then the first time it did I found it for 4k caps so I definitely snagged it. Guess what plan I got yesterday from my first BBQ? The Pepper Shaker plan lol. This isn't the first time I bought a plan from a player vendor and I get it as a reward withing 24 hours.

pepper shaker is not explosive
The pepper shaker cannot drop with the explosive legendary effect unfortunately, but the heavy gunner perks which state that they work with “non-explosive heavy weapons” actually work with any heavy gun which is not a launcher. Bethesda is just misleading with their perk descriptions. Basically those perks will not work with a missile launcher or grenade launcher or the mini nuke launcher. Other Heavy guns are classified as non-explosive Heavy guns wether they have the explosive legendary effect or not.

This weapon is weak( i am not a walking dead of blooded build) and ammo to craft is expensive. Look around how often we see someone with it in Appalachia? For collection only.
