Just picked up the figure and i have to say he's really good. I want to track down the rest over time to make the combiner. It's to bad the combiner is just a fan / toy thing and was never in the comics. But as far as figures go i think i''ll take these iron factory guys to be my DJD on the shelf. Since minus Tarn who is just a space tank i don't think were see the others by Hasbro.
Yay my new IF figure is here, i'll get the silicon lube out now. I do kinda feel this is lacking a bit of fun just due to the sheer bulk, and the alt mode I'm less forgiving of. The 5 look great together tho so I can't say I'm unhappy with them
Another great review, dude. Just reviewed him, myself. My only complaint was the sculpt breaking treads in alr mode. They really nailed this set and I'm hoping for Nickel and Pet as well.
OK this leaves me on the brink... should I give up MMC chug scaled DJD to collect legends scaled IF DJD? I just don't know man, every one says chug scale is dead but MMC MTMTY TF figures are the best representations of those characters. Financially I should give up MMC because I was late to this party and if I want to get all of them I have to spend a lot on the after market but when I look at the pictures of the full MMC DJD team I get tears in my eyes. That comic really got to me and those are the characters I want the most, not just DJD but Ravage, Megatron, all of them. I don't know what to do here, if only I knew which company is going to offer most of the characters from MTMTY, that would help me decide but like this... I just don't know what to do. I know I have to decide this alone and I'm not looking for answers, I'm just getting it out of my chest, this decision is killing me. Thanks for the review Bobby.
MMC gives you Nickel and The Pet/Dominus Ambus if they're important to you for a DJD display, and I don't know if IF even can do transforming figures as small as those two would need to be.

Sometimes I wish I had just went all in on Legends scale. So much bang for your buck at this point. Especially love Iron Factory.

Looks to me like you can effectively have double jointed elbows thanks to the transformation, though I don't have it in hand to confirm it.
