Actually he did…… with “Deep Same Water as you”… but ya this still extremely beautiful! The whole Cure catalog is next level talent!! Personally.. I have a serious problem…. I literally have to listen to Forrest everyday!!!!!!! At least 3 times since 1985…. And I love every version they played! Goth for life!
Not too long after being stationed in Germany a few of the guys that were going to head back to the US rented a car and took us on a long drive. This song was on the radio. Rhine River on one side and hills with vinyards on the other. Windows down with no worries. Every time it is played I close my eyes and remember that place.
This song is so penetrating and hypnotic...the nostalgia and feelings of love/loss it conjures in most bloggers/viewers...nothing short of BRILLIANT!!!
Great song! Great album! I miss the days when my friends and I would drop some liquid and just chill, listening to Roberts amazing voice. I think we wore this album out! Thx Btw no long term damage just great memories
Jus heard it today after watching The Vow lol. Beautiful song.. Coming from a black guy who has an ear and an open mind for all music. Lls and I'm only 19. But I love it. Good music is rare these days
tremenda banda quien no se ha colgado mirando una foto que lo llena de memorias y revive los momentos en queesa persona encendio de amor su corazón de más the cure siempre genios en música y forma de decir las cosas
This music was the accent of my life! I'm at the age where music reminds me of ppl and places. I was in college in San Francisco, and I met Gigi. This song was about the time I met her. Beautiful woman and this music reminds me of her. Hope she thinks of me what she hears it as well...
I listen to these great bands, Cure, The Mission, SoM, The Cult, Echo, Lush, Cocteau's, right up to Kings of Leon and I'm just so glad that I was there at the time to see the start of it all and see all the changes over the years. Thanks for the Vid ! xx It's not so bad being old yanno lol !!
One of those songs that you can actually feel with all your senses. Every time this songs starts playing I don't want it to ever stop.......love the long intro in this live version. Robert's voice on here is so clear and crisp, the crowd is great......shouts and yells mixing up with music....one of the things that shoud be experienced in life. But coming back to reality is so hard sometimes.......falling down to earth after being in the heights of existence.......timeless........:)
Sigh, this reminds me of my Olivia, the married woman whom I loved and who now hates me. All I have left of her are pictures that I look at constantly, even though it's been more than a year since I've seen her. The Cure made this for me because they knew I would need it to cheer up :-).
11 YEARS AND 6 MILLION VIEWS...AND THIS POP QUEEN TAYLOR...6 MILLIONS VIEWS IN JUST ONE DAY....AND EVERY HOUR A NEW VIDEO.....BEHIND THE SCENES...IN FRONT OF THE SCENES...THE SCENES THEMSELVES...!!OH GOD...THERE IS REALLY NO CURE...!!!
Put this song on loop,it never gets old. I saw the Cure twice in Chicago in the late 80s Was in the 30th row with tickets I bough in the parking lot, paid face value
Schade - geile Nummer...
Greetings from Braunschweig / Hannover ( Germany ) to all the Fans of the Cure. Greetings to all my former friends.Remember the good times 84 - 92 in the Jolly Joker or the Indie / Punk Club KOKA in Braunschweig.
Haven't heard this in such a long time and just heard it on TV and got goose bumps, it was like hearing it for the first again, it is still a gorgeous and awesome song.
I watched this video shortly after it was posted in 2006. Here it is 2022 and I came back to watch it again. Time and time again - I watch this video at least once every year. I love music but there is no other song that I'd do this for. This is one amazing tune.

I'm in the same spot as you, just let her go. Don't worry because things always work themselves out. I know you probably loved this girl but you just have to let her go, follow your heart
I have to say I was never one to like live music, but this song by the cure is freaking awesome!! In my opinion this version is better than the original. I can just play this on repeat
This is music. This is talent. This is The Cure. It's not commercialism or meaningless rap or hip hop.
To infer all rap or hip hop is meaningless is ignorant.
Its a masterpiece of human expression!
You nail it
def

Very true, I do miss that era.
