Cleaned up how? with what? this is almost as bad as the "replace the battery" videos. How does this do anything but tell me what not to do with them in the first place and to bring them to you to clean up and solder? and or buy a new one lol
Sorry, you didn't catch all the info you needed in this video. I cleaned up the circuit boards and anything else with 99% isopropyl alcohol and Q-tips, and I used flux and regular solder to fix bad solder joints and soldered the wires back into the boards. Lol... I hope this helps.

Repairing solar lights is something I really enjoy doing. Most of the time it’s just a matter of swapping the battery.
For alkaline battery use vinegar and it cleaning contacts in 5 minutes to clean one, same with leaked rechargeable one.
