I'm a hindu woman of 64 years old and after reading Koran for last few years, I'm seriously considering converting to Islam. I'm pretty convinced it's the true religion.
Just an update, I've embraced Islam on 21 April 2023 in UK. All praise belong to the one true Lord God Allah Almigjty.

@@Calvinmob681 Good, but you should know that Islam forbids division and sects, and Shiites linguistically mean sect, so they are a sect that split from the body of the mainstream Islam for political reasons and then developed ideologically.
As for the Nation of Islam, they are not Muslims because they believe in things that takes you outside of the religion. And they see the white man as a demon. It is a racist movement and it was a reaction to the white racism in America decades ago. That is why many of its followers split from it after learning the true Islam, such as Malcolm X when he went on Hajj, as well as Muhammad Ali.
Sunnis are the true followers of Islam, because they follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah which are the words of the Prophet, and they are 90% of Muslims today. And they are not a sect, rather they are the muslim.

The preachings of religion make you (a person) dependent on Churches, mosques, priests, temples, idols, blind faith, and dogma, and dependence is a habit of the lower mind. So these organized religions are basically crutches, that may be useful at a certain stage for some people, but they do not lead to Ultimate Truth. A dependent mind is not free, and without freedom, enlightenment is impossible.
Religious dogmas are full of beliefs and myths that do not satisfy the human intellect and that bind believers to a narrow view of life and human potential. Such preachings instill more fear than love in the hearts of the masses. Religion either promises salvation or threatens the tortures of hell, but it does not provide sound solutions to the hellish problems and situations that plague human beings here and now. Nor does it satisfactorily explain life before birth or after death.

Genuinely curious about this. In the Old Testament, it is explained that man fell from God bc of the sin of Adam. It is clearly shown that all throughout the Old Testament, they had to sacrifice animals and peace offerings to God to cover their sins bc they did not perfectly keep the law given by God. It was all performance-based. If Jesus was NOT the Savior or Final Sacrifice to cover our past, present, and future sins, then what is that sacrifice that covers us now? Jews sacrificed animals to cover their sins, how about the sins of now? Bc we are sinful by nature, we sin daily without even knowing it, and we can not be with God until we are pure again. In Islam, is it good works we do on earth that exchange the sins we've committed? If so, how many good deeds do we need to do to assure ourselves that we will be pure enough once we reach the end of our lives to get into heaven? We've sinned millions of times since birth, sins we are aware of and unaware of. Will God just outright forgive the sins? If so, that would go against the fact that He is a Holy and JUST God, and sins MUST be accounted for.
All this to say, Jesus seems to be the ONLY logical answer to get into heaven. If it is by our own performance here on earth, it could be said that NOBODY in the history of the world has gone to heaven for we have fallen since Adam. There has to be a covering or replacement for our sins in the past, present, and future. Jesus finished that work on the cross. This does NOT give us a license to continue sinning more. Out of a grateful heart and acceptance of Jesus, you begin to transform and become more like Him. You will never be perfect, but Jesus covers you.
Lastly, He absolutely made it very clear that He was God in the flesh. That is why He was crucified in the first place. They accused Him of Blaspheming and claiming to be God.
I have many amazing Jewish and Muslim friends and it is such a pleasure knowing them, but these are the questions I ask them consistently. How do our good deeds give 100% assurance that we get into heaven? For we know not how many times we sin in this life. And if God will just forgive them, how would He be a 100% Holy and JUST God. Sins must be accounted for. Who do you believe will cover our sins if it was NOT Jesus Christ on the cross?
The question to ponder is this:
If Jesus was NOT the Son of God and DID NOT die for our past, present, and future sins - then what has covered us since then and in the future as we sin till the day we die? Bc SIN must be accounted for if we will be with God again. (Yes, maybe you feel you are a good person, and you sin "less" than others, but you still fall short of God's perfect standard every day if you sin only once in a while. They still must be accounted for.)

I reverted exactly this time last year. I've spent the last 12months living as a Muslim. Although I'm not perfect I've started to transition more and more as time goes on. hitting daily prayers, doing good deeds. learning the history and reprogramming my mentality to adopt this way of life. Ten years it took me to get here through a journey of Christianity, Atheism & Anti theism. The problem other religions, non believers and agnostics have with Islam is they are fighting a losing battle. Unfortunately for them Islam has an answer to everything. Anybody who applies logic and deep introspection to the message will know it in their heart.

(Quran 32:2). -It is a revelation from He who created the earth and the high heavens. (Quran 20:4). -He is the one & only true God. (Quran 112:1). -He sent the Quran with truth, confirming the scriptures that came before it, the Torah and the gospel. (Quran 3:3). -Say to them: we believe in God, and what was revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and that which was given to all the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we surrender ourselves. (Quran 2:136). -O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. (Quran 49:13). -God commands justice, goodness, and kindness. He forbids imorality, injustice, and oppression. (Quran 16:90). -Your Lord is not unjust and does not wrong anyone. (Quran 2:81). -Whoever does an atoms weight of good will be rewarded for it, and whoever does an atoms weight of evil will be punished for it. (Quran 99:7-8). -So seek your Lord’s forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance. Surely your Lord is Most Merciful, and Loving.” (Quran 11:90). -Holy scripture is from God the Almighty, All-knowing. He is severe in punishment, but He accepts repentance and forgives sins. He is the most compassionate, most merciful. To Him is your ultimate return. (Quran 40:2-3).
-The heavens, We built them with Our power, & verily, We are expanding them. (QURAN 51:47).

They draw from wisdoms of the Prophets in history, their disciples, their stories, their lessons, specially listen to stories of Sahabah (disciples of Prophet (saw), you see their humanity, their flaws, then they working on themselves and then becoming legends, leaders and warriors yet be the humble enough to clean old ladies homes and carry flour bags for the poor, their citizens, they never behaved like Kings or royality...they wore what even the slaves would wear, they ate what poor ate and they were soo focused making sure they were just even if it meant incriminating themselves and admitting they messed up...the islamic scholars have kept such details record of the Prophet (saw) life, his disciples, their students and their student lives...allot of inspiration and wisdoms to draw from...

The reason why I became a Muslim was because, during my research on the history of the Bible, I was shocked by what I learned. I didn't really care about the "contradictions" per se, but it was the discoveries of the Nag Hammadi library and the Dead Sea Scrolls that had a significant impact on me. These texts predate anything found in the Bible, so how come they were excluded from our modern Bible? That's when I realized that they were excluded because someone clearly had their biases and decided what to include or exclude based on their own interpretations. That’s not fare! That's abusing power to whole another level!
If the core text of the faith is problematic, it implies that the Bible is based on personal interpretations and feelings. This renders the entire religion essentially meaningless since it evolves around “trends” and “commonly held beliefs” rather than God’s true message.
Also, there's this guy Paul, out of nowhere, years after Jesus's deaths comes and "hijacks" the entire faith. He introduces the Trinity, separates early Christians from Mosaic law, and claims he's seen "Jesus's ghost".
Then, there are also issues with canons and significant translation errors. The term "GODISNOWHERE" can be read in two different ways: "God is now here" and "God is no-where." These variations result in huge differences in interpretation. Early Aramaic and Hebrew had no spaces.
Anyways, long story short, the Bible was essentially a ancient Wikipedia in which information can be taken out, and edited based other's biases and beliefs.

*Quran (**8:39**) And FIGHT them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, ALL OF IT, is for Allah . And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do.*

But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful*

That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken VENGEANCE upon them [Himself], but [He ORDERED ARMED STRUGGLE] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.*

*Quran (**5:33**) Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be KILLED or CRUCIFIED or that their HANDS AND FEET BE CUT OFF from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,*
*Quran (**5:51**) O ye who believe! TAKE NOT THE JEWS AND THE CHRISTIANS FOR YOUR FRIENDS and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.*
*Quran (5:80) You see many of them becoming ALLIES of THOSE WHO DISBELIEVED. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that ALLAH HAS BECOME ANGRY WITH THEM, and in the PUNISHMENT they will abide ETERNALLY.*
*Quran (4:89) They wish you would disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so you may all be alike. So do not take them as allies unless they emigrate in the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then SEIZE THEM and KILL THEM WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, and do not take any of them as allies or helpers*

These verses you put together are for moments Islam was being attacked and muslims were being persecuted. The unbelievers tried to stop the muslims from practicing Islam. Imagine how bloody conflict was 1400 years ago when human rights as of today was probably not even a concept. The muslims were given the opportunity to fight, and fight to establish their belief or perish. It was a test of believe. Don't put verses together to forge a narrative. @Fliegendes Krokodil When you know and start to follow Islamic rules, you would never hit a woman. The teachings really affect you like that. So when a relation between a husband and wife reaches a particular degree where nothing is helping, then the husband is allowed (not something you will have to) to let her know that she has reached the limit. The indication that she has reached her limit is to first discuss the matter. If she still doesn't listen, then he should not sleep with her (to let her know how far it has reached), and if she still doesn't listen (let's say the hasband found out that she and her boss are kinda close. Maybe it's not like she is cheating on him, but to make everything easier, he tells her to leave that job and join another one, and here they start disagreeing), then the husband is allowed to lightly hit her (not to cause injury, but to let her know that enough is enough, similar to when a husband and wife quarrel in movies and he slaps her. And also according to hadith a man can't cause harm to his wife). This hitting part is the last resort before breaking the marriage. This is a four-step process by which marriage is tried to be preserved. But let's be honest, no Muslim who truly follows Islam would go to the third step. I mean, who would want to hit a kind and obedient woman? It only happens when a husband is not following Islam well and is using it as an excuse to hit his wife. There is sharia law, and if a husband hits his wife for no particular reason, then he will have to pay for it.

Be calm, take some pause and try to understand the truth, mate...
Quran 3:151 is in the back-ground of the battle of Uhud when the disbelievers of Arabia marched back to Makkah without any obvious reason and inspite of defeat overtaking Muslims. However, after having covered a certain distance on their way to Makkah, they awoke to their folly. When they thought of marching back to Madinah, Allah Almighty filled their hearts with such awe and fear that they could not muster the courage to do so. The most they could do was to hire a Madinah-bound villager to go there and tell Muslims that they were coming back. But, this whole deal came into the knowledge of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in Madinah through revelation. He marched to Hamra' al-Asad to apprehend them but they had already run away from there.
This was the background in which the verse was revealed.
      2:91 in complete context:
2:190 - Fight in the way of God those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. God does not like transgressors.
2:191 - And kill them wherever you find them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah [Persecution] is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
2:192 - And if they cease, then indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.
2:193- Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah [Persecution] and [until] worship is for God. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.
it is clear that nowhere does it sanction the killing of innocent people. From verse 2:190 to 2:193, when read, Allah makes it evident to fight those only who fight them, fighting in self-defence.
Critics have deceptively translated the Arabic word ‘Fitna’ used in 2:191 and 2:193 as ‘disbelief’.
While the Arabic word for disbelief is kufr.
If you love Jesus (P. B. U. H), you will follow him & not your own whims and desires. And if you follow him, you'll end up being a Muslim.
      Because every prophet from Hazrat Adam (P. B. U. H) to Hazrat Muhammad (P. B. U. H) including Moses (P. BU. H) & Jesus (P. B. U. H)
Submitted to will of God Almighty, Allah S.W.T .
They all were Muslims. Because Muslim is the one who submits himself to the will of Allah S.W.T.

I made a whole account just to be able to comment on this matter. I was raised Christian my whole life, I’m now 26. By the time I was 16-17 I realized how hypocritical, toxic, and weak minded the Christian community was (no offense). If anyone cares for me to elaborate I will. I consider myself a spiritual person not so much religious but as of lately I’ve been watching Islamic teachings and I’ve been thinking to myself if I was to become religious I’d most likely convert to Islam. I feel they actually put their money where their mouth is so they gained my attention and respect.

It’s not about the messaging being “more attractive”, it’s about the messaging being clear- cut, straight, precise, and way more logical/rational than any other faith on the planet.
What Patrick doesn’t seem to understand, is that the Quran itself predicts a mass conversion/reversion to the Religion of Islam.
It says “and when you see the people entering the Religion of Allah in multitudes, then glorify the name of your Lord and seek His forgiveness.”
It’s also an end time prophecy in Islam where the true and upstanding Christian’s will embrace the religion of Islam when the emergence of the antichrist draws near because during that time- Truth will become more and more clear to everyone..

Allah, ta^ala, said in the Qur’an:
    {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلاَ تَمُوتُنَّ إِلاَّ وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ} (102)
Ya ayyuhal-ladhina amanut-taqullaha haqqa tuqatihi wa la tamutunna illa wa antum muslimun.
    Ayah 102 of Suratu Al ^Imran means: {O believers, fear Allah properly (as you should) and do not die but as Muslims.}
    The Religion of Islam:
Islam is the true Religion that the sound mind supports, and it is appropriate for every age and time. It is the Religion of all the prophets from the first of them, Adam, to the final one, Muhammad, may peace be upon them all. Allah sent the prophets to guide the people to what is good and beneficial, to guide them to piety, and to teach them to be steadfast on this Religion until the end of their lives.
Piety: Piety (Taqwa) occurs by doing all the obligations and avoiding all the sins. Whoever achieves this state becomes a pious person. The first among these obligations is knowing and believing in Allah, ta^ala, and His Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam.
    Professing the Two Shahadahs:
In regards to the blasphemer who wants to embrace Islam, the belief is not accepted without one uttering the Two Testifications (Shahadahs). In addition, the Muslim is obligated to recite the Two Testifications (Shahadahs) in every prayer for validity of that prayer. The Two Testifications are: I testify that no one is God except Allah and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
The meaning of the Two Shahadahs:
The meaning of Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah is: I know, I believe, and I declare that no one is God except Allah, i.e., no one deserves to be worshipped except Allah.
The meaning of Ash-hadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah is: I know, I believe, and I declare that our Master Muhammad, the son of ^Abdullah, is the Messenger of Allah to both the humans and jinn, and that he is truthful in all of what he conveyed from Allah.
The purpose of the Two Testifications: To confirm that Allah is the One and only God, and that Muhammad is His Messenger, while rejecting that which contradicts this.
Allah, ta^ala, said in the Qur’an:

That's not what it's about. It's not even about you! You're a sinner, who's sin has offended a Holy God. One day, very soon, you will die. And you will stand before this Holy God for judgement. Your good deeds will not save you, my friend! You aren't good enough. His standard is 100%. You are facing eterrnal hell and damnation. Not some place where you burn your sins away for a while. That's not going to happen. Your condemnation will be forever! It matters not how "happy" you are now. You are on the wrong path, no matter how sincerely you are walking it. Now, in your own scriptures you are taught that Isa was conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe that too. Because the one true God was his father! God begets God. And that God sent Isa to pay the penalty and price you and I owe for our sins. God Himself came to save us, because we could not save ourselves. He took pity on us. There is no Other Way to Heaven except through Isa. Your own best works are like filthy menstrual rags in his sight! And that is the truth. Our "feelings" matter not one jot!

I was raised catholic but in later life lost touch with religion.... Have strongly considered converting. There is a mosque in my area and when I visited there to ask about the religion there was no judgement or ego, the Muslims there are some of the most wholesome, welcoming people I've ever met. Everyone seemed to have a real sense of camaraderie and respect for each other

try sitting there and watch them when they pray. you would notice the strangest things at this time and age. There is no discrimination not so ever. You will find the poor standing in line next to the millionaire and next to him black skinned man. It's truly amazing every time I see this in our modern time I just wonder and reflect upon the way Islam brings people together.

Go back to your faith of your ancestors, its your blood which have served your family for generations. Islam comes with its own drawbacks as highlighted in the video like lack of civil liberties, human rights, economic freedom, economic innovation etc... After all that is said and done we have to remember that there is not 1 developed muslim country with a knowledge economy. This is a direct result of Islamic faith which rules most of these muslims lives. And remember muslims flee from their countries to West and not vice versa, and the reason for that is again after all is said and done their countries still remains backward compared to ours. I don't know where you are from, but if you are from US (or a similar developed western country), we just have to go back to our roots and values which made as successful and great in the first place. That is the US or the west that was there before the 60s and 70s (minus the race part ofcourse).
