“Certainly! Matthew 5:17-18 is a passage from the New Testament, specifically from the Gospel of Matthew. Here is the text of those verses (ESV):
"17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished."
In these verses, Jesus is speaking, and He emphasizes that He did not come to abolish the Law (which includes the Old Testament laws and teachings) but to fulfill them. He goes on to say that not even the smallest part of the Law will pass away until all is accomplished. This indicates the continuity between the Old Testament (the Law and the Prophets) and Jesus' mission as the fulfillment of that divine plan.”

Tolerance is another word for normalization. What happens when you take drugs for too long, you build up tolerance. What happens when you watch scarier and scarier movies/music/etc, you build up tolerance. What happens when you accept immorality.... you build up tolerance. Tolerance must be built up first in order to go further, otherwise it will be too unpleasant. Once you build up tolerance, it is very difficult and often impossible to reverse.

Quran (only scripture with 100% accuracy/preservation) says Allah is “Al-Ahad”(one/indivisible).Philosophically, It is impossible for 3 distinct perfections to exist simultaneously. Father (Perfection 1/distinct1) =Son (Perfection 2/distinct2)=idolatry.This is due to addition of two extra perfections that are Co-equal/Co-eternal&distinct with Allah(the most Exalted). Not just the Quran, but also the old/New Testament textually establish tauheed(monotheism). So, then why believe in trinity and associate two imaginary parts to Allah(one/indivisible/Self-Sufficient/All-Loving)? How could your love/worship be undivided/exclusive for Allah(the most Exalted) when there are two other equally unique/perfect entities to adore? The verses of bible used by trinitarians are extremely vague and require hard interpretation to extract the understanding that Father/Son/Holy Ghost are Co-equal/Co-Eternal&distinct.

It's more an emotional reaction. Which can founded on good or bad intent. That is the way with emotions. Usually the minority powers have more emotional invesment. But I'm atheist (grant it influenced by religions) so to me it's more to much tolerance from one side and not enough from the other. I can see both points. I just have more experience with christianity as it's been heavily pushed through media and kther mediums. And i also know the issue with atheism is a lacking of an overall framework and how that turn into morals that aren't beneficial to others around you and only to yourself. I try to practice a spiritual/religious approach to it for that reason. Using treat others how you wanted to treated with a higher understanding some people want to be treated differently based on personal experiences. Atheists haven't had time or power to work this issue out, but i think we can make progress and hopefully bridge the gap or distance/remove themselves from our group of bad apples. But it might take to much time and resources to do so on a global level.

Most Christians are confused as they do not study the word of God diligently.
God in the bible has ask us to be tolerant of sinners by rebuking them. Not to tolerate sinful behaviour by joining them or to stay silent about them.
Jesus preached about repentance everywhere he went. He sat amongst the tax collector, prostitutes, phraisees. Etc.
When the Pharisees wanted to stone the prostitute, Jesus stopped them. Then turned to the prostitute and said. John 8:11 NIV
"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
Jesus did not say continue in LQBTQIA movement and have sex with who ever you want.
We should love by rebuking each other and not to love to spoil each other. That is how Jesus lead and showed us his love. Which most Christians who are not well versed will spoil and encourage sinful behaviour in their foolishness.
Bible warned about false teacher too. I will spend day talking about it if I continue. Please search up John MacArthur, Paul Washer, David Lynn, Spurgeon, Agustin. So many great defender of Christian faith that does not condone foolish tolerances but only Christ tolerance.

Or you could do what your bible says, ya know, as commanded by your 'God'.
      Romans 13:1-7
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

The evolution from viewing sexuality as something we do to something we are reflects a shift in the way society perceives and discusses human sexuality. This shift is closely tied to the culture of authenticity and the concept of expressive individuality. Let's explore this transformation with explanations and examples:
      1. **From "What We Do" to "What We Are"**:
      - In the past, discussions of sexuality often revolved around behaviors and actions-what people did in terms of their sexual conduct.
      - However, contemporary society has increasingly recognized that sexuality is an integral aspect of a person's identity and self-concept. It's not just about actions but also about one's innate sexual orientation and identity.
      2. **Culture of Authenticity**:
      - The culture of authenticity encourages individuals to be true to themselves, embracing their genuine feelings, identities, and desires.
      - This cultural shift has paved the way for more open discussions about sexuality, allowing individuals to express their authentic selves.
      3. **Illustration - From "Do" to "Are"**:
      - *Past Perspective ("Do"):* Imagine a historical context where discussions of sexuality primarily focused on societal expectations and norms. People were expected to conform to certain sexual behaviors and roles based on those expectations.
      - *Contemporary Perspective ("Are"):* In today's culture of authenticity, discussions about sexuality often revolve around acknowledging and accepting one's innate sexual orientation and identity. People are encouraged to understand and express their authentic selves, whether they identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or within the spectrum of gender identities.
      4. **Example - Coming Out**:
      - Coming out as LGBTQ+ illustrates the shift from "doing" to "being." In the past, individuals may have hidden their same-sex attractions due to societal norms. Today, many people come out to express their authentic selves and their innate sexual orientations.
      5. **Legal and Social Recognition**:
      - The shift in perspective has led to legal and social changes, such as the decriminalization of homosexuality, recognition of same-sex marriage, and policies against discrimination based on sexual orientation.
      - These changes reflect a growing acceptance of individuals for who they are, rather than what society expects them to do.

Iam seeking knowledge towards religion myself a born muslim but went through other religion and currently looking into Christianity.
I went through several verses and very confused if u have answers give me some insight.
Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
      Mathew 19:16, 17
      why jesus is not good?
he clearly mention that he is not God but a human messenger every prophet are way to reach god.. as they carry the message.
“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.
      Acts 2:22
this what all other prophets taught, they did miracles but only with the will of god.
In John 17:3, Jesus defined eternal life saying, “This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
He clearly says that he is nothing but a messenger sent from god.
Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended. to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.
      john 20:17
my father and your father so are the people were also part of trinity?? he clearly says my god and your god so it openly states that jesus had and have a God.
And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
      Mathew 26:39
not in my will but in God will so these verse makes me question why Christians think jesus is God.
The bible have errors like different narration in years, numbers and so on. which makes it less trust worthy as it is human words.
you can google abt the errors or I will send you.
I know some verses says before Abraham I was, I and the father are one but he also says my father is greater than I. so these things don't really proves anything to me.. if there is something else do highlight me. Not a debate we will have a discussion.

23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

My Aunt and Uncles also grew up in the Church, but their children are Liberals! One cousin of mine is dating a guy who just recently 'changed' his gender. My Aunt actually calls him a 'her!'. How could someone who has grown up in the Church so easily give in and 'tolerate' this falsehood? This is definitely a huge issue in Western Christian households now.

    We love them.
And whoever does us wrong, God judges for us.
    This is true peace.
Christianity is a religion founded on love.
And perhaps it was the loving hearts of these two Christian gentlemen that prevented them from feeling the need to harshly defend what they know to be True.

im not using violence which Muslims, as Daniel said, are proud of that. Jesus said something about loving your enemies, and Muhammad something about not doing evil to those who did you evil, but to respond with kindness and forgiveness or stuff.
edit: if we want to live happily, why violence? ig that theyre the extremists who do that, and the majority of Muslims are actually peaceful. Daniel advocating for violence as a means to spread faith is extremely bad. imagine that happens to a child in America who you do not know, who could have become a Muslim himself, just died because of a bombing?
Why violence? Majority of the people are stuck with the world, and resources, and self-gratifaction (yes, selfishness).
Why do people decide if one is proud of their religion? Can't they be proud already because Allah/God acknowledges that already? Why need to feel privileged to kill? to not care about the innocent? just because one is a Muslim?
I hate that Christians are too accepting, yes I admire how they are peaceful, but they are losing the essence of their faith. But regardless, in this modern age, Christians you seldom see them in big wars. They must be understanding, but not accepting. Isn't it the case that only God chooses who to accept? why need to accept the weirdo alphabet like they are divine themselves, just tell them to be peaceful and loving. There is a debate on this and is too complicated and long for my reply, so nah. I stop at that
Regardless, Muslims doing violence to spread faith is not really conforming to Muhammad's one rule. It is too much of a complex idea, why not be simple and act with 'kindness and forgiveness'? So no. I do not agree with your comment. I do not like war and violence. Muhammad and Jesus don't want that either.
I BEG FOR EVERYONE TO JUST PLEASE BE LOVING AND PEACEFUL! I AM LITERALLY BEGGING RN i hate this world i once loved so much. and plenty are stuck doing worldly things. I hate this world.

To be quite fair and honest, the side of Islam doesn't have much of an argument because most of the "immoral" things they are citing are found in the Old Testament. The same way they blinded follow the law of Allah, we will blindly follow God and his instruction to us that we shall not live by the Old Testament.

At the end of the day THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS THE GOLDEN RULE, no matter who you are.
It's not about organized religion, it's about each individual being, people in the world, that never even had access to any religion books.
    THE GOLDEN RULE!!!
It's a personal and internal relationship between the individual and his Maker.
