Thanks for sharing this, it was very helpful. I made a radial object I like and want to copy it to a new file - I’m wondering how I can copy it to a new file on my ipad? When I copy/paste it, the pasted object is very distorted and does not look like the original. Thanks in advance.
One suggestion is too duplicate the file itself do you keep the Radial effect. Another is too duplicate the layer, Expand it, copy it, and paste it into a new document but you will loose the Radial effect. Hope this helps you 👋😀
@@coralm6222 It all depends your end result. What I usually do is, duplicate the Radial layer, lock the first one do I don't accidently move it or make any changes to it and work on the duplicate. So, whichever changes I make, I still have the original. 😀 👋
does anyone know how to separate and then select and delete specific parts o the radial repeat? for example, I'm drawing a sun's rays but I only want half a circle of it
Hi there! Yes you can, after the Radial Repeat, tap on the Object side menu, tap to Expand, tap to ungroup and then select the desired path. In this case personally I duplicate the layer before the expansion. Hope this helps 😊👋
Not sure I understand the question but I think you are referring to Artboards? If so, the answer is it does from the Create New document icon, you will see the choice of how many Artboards you can add. Hope I answered your question otherwise let me know if you wish 😀
@@EliasSarantopoulos I was using the repeat to get a circle of circles that I can then use the shape builder tool on, but I can't use the builder tool on a repeated object.

I am sorry not sure I understand your question. Do you want to change the shape after you apply the Repeat?

@@suryanshsingh8290 This is Adobe Illustrator, there are some minor differences. There is Radial Repeat inside AD. 😀
