Laura is not only an incredible teacher, an incredible technician, incredibly creative, incredibly thoughtful...but she is incredibly beautiful above all that (on the inside, too!)
Once again a wonderful tutorial which uses up spare fabric and batting rather than having to go out and buy layer-cakes etc. i love the log cabin quilt you have displayed behind you! Many thanks, Jess
I just discovered your videos about two weeks ago and you have given me the confidence to try making this table runner. I love your tips and different views on projects. Thank you so much for inspiring some of us beginners!
Thank you and welcome! I do hope you give this a try, it really is easy. Nothing to match up and you don't need to worry about your seam allowance. If it goes a little wonky you will be trimming it down after so there is nothing to worry about, Go for it:)
wow just wow Laura, we watched the Rompers Room on PBS (public broadcasting) and my husband and I just went through the you tube search but to no avail we didn't find Ms. Linda this was in the 60's in New Orleans, La I wonder if different areas of the US had different teachers. loved the clothes! lol well, just know this she was a lady and we all tuned in. You know back in the day when being a lady was something to be!! (still is in my book). take care
Thank you once again for another awesome video! I love your easy to follow instructions ,and I always have 100% success with my projects!! I watch your videos almost nightly🤗❤️❤️❤️.
hello mam.i love all ur tutorials.i make some them.i want to make bathrob for my little one.please teach us for it.i am very thankful to u for ur very useful vedios.looking forward for more.😊
I am lucky enough to have both the 9 and 10 degree wedge ruler and have made runners using up left overs. I would love to see what else (designs) can be made with this ruler!
Laura I loved your bubble quilt. Could you please show the finished quilt so I can see what it looks like? As always a brilliant video. I am watching past videos. Thank you so much for your tips. Shirley.
Absolutely love your videos. So clear. I am new to sewing and tho not interested in making clothing I love table runner, bags, etc. Thanks so very much for these, love what you show us. Would love it if you would do a video on "what can be done" with these rulers. I see that with a number of them, but I have no idea what all these things are! Nor how to use them. This one is so clear, but what are some of the other things you can use it for? Not understanding why it starts at 3" mark either? I'm sure it's because I am new. And, yes, you look lovely- but then, I personally think you always look lovely. :)
I love this!! I'm going to make one for Fall. Thanks for sharing and pardon me as I'm trying to catch up on videos. I'm so behind, summer got in my way. 😂
I would like to make this and have a straight ruler. How would I cut the pieces. It's a great pattern for 3 pieces of prints I chose. Thanks for the tutorial.
Ruler will be on my "need to get" list ! Had to look twice as video came on ...all dressed up? Hair up, dressy blouse....that for us? LOL or have a hot date? Very classy:)
It was all for you. No hot date, unless you call my sewing machine a date-able guy! Hair up because it was too hot that day, thank you:) maybe I'll try it again!
Hi Laura A while ago you made a Christmas tree skirt, I watched the video a few times and watched how you cut and then you sawed it together but I did not see how you backed it. Could you just clarify that please.
if you want wider pieces then you could possibly start with bottom edge instead ?? I have a ruler similar to the one you are using and have hesitated to use it. where I bought it they have done a double sided table runner ...wedges on both sides...can rightly wrap my head around that one yet . thanks for inspiring me to try
It is a ruler made by Creative Grids, it is 241/2in long and 61/2 in wide.. 15* degree triangle... it is of course all marked off rule wise... I just haven't had the gupton to use it yet... I bought it along with a pattern from Cut Loose, called a super simple double quilt as you go... but i haven't tried it yet.
Oh yes she is big. You can get them at large fabric stores. They are usually rolled in a big box on the floor. It is one of those things that are too big to be seen and to small to noticed. However I'm sure for the right price anything can be put in the mail!
I must be totally dense, but WHY would I measure the largest part when the batting is smaller?!?! It seems simple enough, but the measuring part has me completely stumped.
FABULOUS! You look fabulous, this runner is fabulous and as always your teaching is fabulous. Thank you as always!
Thank you :)
Laura is not only an incredible teacher, an incredible technician, incredibly creative, incredibly thoughtful...but she is incredibly beautiful above all that (on the inside, too!)

Oh yes! You can start on any measurement, just keep them all the same:) can you show me the other ruler you are talking about?
It is a ruler made by Creative Grids, it is 241/2in long and 61/2 in

Very nice fabric and finish. Never noticed before how big your cutting mat is - I guess that didn't come through the post haha
