How to Use Squid for Bait--- NONSTOP FISHING ACTION!

  • This week, it’s time to put one of the best fishing baits to the test: Squid. We are using fresh squid and Squidy Bits to saltwater fish off these rocks. Squid is supposedly the best fishing bait for this area, so it's time to see how well it really does.
This week, I am fishing in Mexico with Erin, my dad, and his friend, Jack. We have been having an epic time fishing here and I know it can only get better. I know there are so many kinds of fish here that I’ve never caught before and I can’t wait to catch dinner for my family.

what i love about hey skipper is 1, They know how to fish. They dont rely on silly challenges to make thier videos. 2 they respect the fish and nature, and 3 they actually enjoy eating thier catches. thier enthusiasm is contagious and it makes me want to get back out there. Love to see them come out to the west coast and fish the areas i go to see how they handle it. Santa cruz,Monterey, half moon bay. I also think it would be cool to see them calibrate with addicted fishing. that would be an awesome team up

Awesome vid. Love your videos because it's not just you but you with loved ones and family. Also your honest about your time. As in yeah you cut out the moments that you are just waiting for a bite but you honest on how it took you a while to catch something. When I first started fishing I would get so fustrated and give up so soon from lack of patience but when I started watching your vids I learned how to be better at fishing and learned to be patient. It's not always just casting and a quick bite lol

5:43; 6:43 - I grew up around the ocean. One of the FIRST things my dad taught me was to NEVER, EVER, EVER turn your back on the ocean, even on the calmest of the calmest of days. Today, I see so many people, who didn't grow up around dangerous surf, turning their back on the ocean. People die because of this. I don't mean to call him out by highlighting his error because nobody likes to have their errors pointed out. But everyone makes errors. Myself included. The important thing is to learn from our errors. Good fishing to everyone!

I was out fishing today. I was using high/low rigs on 2 fishing rods with night crawler on low rig and homemade salty squid on high rig. I was getting hits on both baits, but caught a 10 inch small mouth bass on the night crawler. I'm to believe that all the rain we have had in the last week has something to do with the fish not bitting and or the moon phase!? Chatter baits, jigs, float rigs, high/low rigs and other lures are not catching fish. Hey Skipper, do you have any suggestions what I could do to catch fish after a rainy or stormy day?
