Good video and new experiences! If 70ft is really deep, what is 900-1100ft? We do a lot of deep slow pitch jigging for yellowedge grouper in water in that range.
You have single handedly sparked my fishing addiction. I started fishing consistently at a lake near me after months of watching your vids and fell in love with it. Just planned a beach trip for thanksgiving and will definitely be surf fishing. Thank you for the new passion
Hi Skipper, I am watching you from Costa Rica and I would like to send you a big thanks for letting me learn great techniques for fishing!! Again, thanks very much, and blessings for all!!
Abundance of clickbait. What was the monster/mystery fish? At which time stamp? There is none. In supposedly !SUPER DEEP! water, that is under under 100 feet!!? Why would you do such a thing?
I love youtube fishing content but this dude irks me for the same reason. It's the youtube algorithm buzzwords, making everything sound "EPIC" that gets annoying. I truly dont understand how this dude has more subscribers than fishaholic or eliasv, i guess the buzzwords work but this is definitely mediocre content.
So yummy, the yummiest fresh fish prepared to perfection by the best chef . Wish i could cook fresh cath fish not a frozen one from the supermarket, also redsnapper are very expensive 😢
Hello hey skipper family! I took your sabiki rig to Aruba this past week. My lady has never fished in her life. She casted your sabiki rig and caught 4 blue runner fish at once. Everyone on the beach was cheering her on. Thanks for making our fishing trip in Aruba memorable . Wish we took more sabiki rigs with us. Also finally able to watch this weeks video.
Would love to go off shore fishing with bait. I’ve only ever fished off shore once, and we were fishing for mackerel. Caught a big pollock too, biggest fish anyone landed the whole day. I’d be so excited to fish super deep with bait to see what different species I could catch.
The fish stealing the bait sounds like when I bottom fish here in Nova Scotia, there’s always cunners stealing bait. The cunners are usually close to the docks and semi shallow rocky areas
great fishing I do wonder why you never use BKK casting glowes just so handeling the fish you dont have to worry about hooks gill plates on fish or even release so your hands dont take off the important layer of fish slime Interesting fishing techniques looks like a great spot for big fish
Never thought there were invasive in the ocean but I'm a freshwater guy. Our deepest lake in the state that is natural is about 260 feet I think. There are some flooded pit mines that are deeper
Hi Skipper and Erin. I love watching your channel, EVERYDAY! 😁 even from years ago. 🤣🤣 I’ll be going up to the California coast Memorial Day weekend fishing for red tail surf perch. Any recommendations on what bait I should use?
Salted baits are perfect time tested and used you can use them we also supply those if required, you can check below . www.heyskipperfishing.com/salted-baits/ 😄

id love to be there. id use my 10' med/heavy fast action rod with penn pursuit4 8000, 80lb braid and 8/0 circle hook or my 2.5' dock demon rod with penn pursuit4 6000, 80lb braid and 6/0 circle hook.
That looked like a ton of fun. I remember my family chartering a boat called the Breakaway out of Destin several summers in row back in my youth. I even remember the Captain, Stokes Walker. Finding the right person to show you the ropes really matters and Lionel seems like an awesome guide.
little tip that may help. lower your bait to the depth you require. The loosely put and elastic band round your spool. that way you'll reach the correct depth every time. But if a large fish takes, the elastic band will move and allow more line out.
Hey Skipper you need to come to Prince Edward Island in Canada to fish our waters next summer. It would be a delight to see you guys fishing our humble little island. Cheers!
Hey skipper, I had a blast cooking for you. You are welcome back anytime.
Good video and new experiences! If 70ft is really deep, what is 900-1100ft? We do a lot of deep slow pitch jigging for yellowedge grouper in water in that range.
Maybe you're losing them because you're offshore fishing and need a circle hook. Hook your bait in the nose, not the head .

Exact same thing w me! I literally cannot stop thinking about heading to the water- only thing is fishing is so bad on my wallet😂😭
Awesome 👏
Here in the Philippines, we drop 200-250m. This is not deep 😂
In what world is 70' considered SUPER DEEP? The little local lake I fish is 90'🤔

And shark as well.
Oh really?? I’ll have to do that next time!

I DID enjoy that! I even saved it. I've got to go to that restaurant too!

Is it called a Ruby Red lips 👄 cuz of the Jumangi character Ruby Red??
Never thought there were invasive in the ocean but I'm a freshwater guy. Our deepest lake in the state that is natural is about 260 feet I think. There are some flooded pit mines that are deeper
This dude always fishes like he’s barely learning even though he’s had his YT channel for years
Brother. I want to ask you that. Are scardeye fish is good for baits. For surf casting
Lots of cool species on this episode. Was hopin you would be able to pull the bigger fish in....Live and Learn....Tight Lines !!!
13:01 wow that was a serious bend in the rod 😂😅

You need a trailer hook mooching like that
Why the fish kept coming off,?
QUE MANERA DE FALLAR PIEZAS
"What is that thing?" 🤣🤣A dolphin, duh
Fun video food looked great!!!

Chillest captain ever, "I just got stung by a wasp or whatever 😅keep fishing. "

You're baiting wrong.
70ft super deep!? Lol
It was cool seeing y'all out in the real world man! You should definitely try that spot we talked about! Your boat would definitely make it.
You need bigger hook #3 to 6 and bigger bait. I’m from Miami we fish those fish all the time.
Great click bait 😂😂😂
damm boy, u sure eat good
Great video
The bait you were using were sardines not greenies (threadfin herring).
I wish i was there to tell you to stop bending the rod down lol..
Wow there's nothing better than a fresh catch and cook
I've always wanted to see yall do some deep sea fishing! ❤
👍
😎🤙
Really enjoyed this!
Nice to see offshore content!
Wooow amazing brother
Fun day right? Would you go out?

Are saltwater topwater poppers good in the winter?
I’m not sure, I guess it depends where you are fishing
@@HeySkipper I am fishing in grassy marsh land near George crady fishing bridge in Jacksonville Florida
Just use good cut baits dude, poppers and lures are wast of a good fishing time
Hy bro plzz do beach fishing we love it
