Congratulations on your new pen! May it bring you long-lasting happiness! I bought a Yukari Autumn Leaves (used and a few years old) in an e-bay auction and had to pay more for it than I had hoped, but I don't regret it one bit. It's truly special and gives me so much joy every time I pick it up. At first, I was worried it might be a bit heavy for me, but it feels perfect in my hand, and like you, I find that my handwriting is helped by it. I sewed a thick and soft pen sleeve for it and always keep it in there when I am not using it.
Namiki produce some wonderful pens. The Gingko is a superb design and really has a fresh approach to maki-e . My only gripe with them is the price disparity between the west and Japan. These pens can be had at about 1100 pounds from Japan, with the non limited editions at about 800. In Europe these are retailing at around 1300 for the regular editions to 1600-1700 for the gingko. Have you ever thought of getting custom maki-e done??
Beautiful presentation. I love Pilot nibs. I have a SF nib that does wonders for my writing. Higher gold content means nothing when coming to softness or flex. Sailor uses 21K nibs and they are stuff. I have a Fountain Pen Revolution steel flex nib that is like a wet noodle.
You deserve every molecule of that fountain pen. If Namiki contacted you, what other designs would you like on the fountain pens?. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.

Congratulations on the new pen! I agree with you on the awesomeness of the Yukari. I adore mine. :)

My favorite Namiki part-the rhodium 'snow'-capped Mt. Fuji on the otherwise gold colored nib. Yes indeed, the best snow-cap on any pen…🤙🏼
Ahh…. Me first, me first…. Everyone have an epic weekend…. Love from Orlando…

She's not only incredibly knowledgable, she's also super cute
Beautiful pen. I have eyeballs on the yukari royale vermillion myself. seems more reasonable than the emperor; for me anyway.

It’s beautiful and the nib seems so smooth
