I never knew anything about this seemingly absurd world of pens or rather “writing instruments”. Definitely gained a new appreciation of these utensils
It's sad nobody comments on that MIH watch but that watch functions as an automatic chronograph and annual calendar by not looking like one with 100m water resistance, very minimalistic sleeper watch. It was developed by some of the greatest engineering minds from AHCI.
I used to work in central Switzerland in Zug, so know the area well :) Whenever you need to note something quickly, a pen always is to mind and never anything electronic, and when you need to write something personal, hand written just gives more feelings to the words.... looking at these pens they remind me of wands like in Harry Potter not just full with ink, but magic... wonderful show my friend, and I really loved the details of each one, but that Phoenix was nicely executed ;) Thank you again and hope you had a lovely Christmas ;)

That MIH watch is super cool. Flip it around and you got a nice little chrono. That being said, can't....start....another....hobby.....Too....expensive.... Also, thanks for all the hard work through this difficult year! Onwards to 2021!

Idk what to feel about spending that much money on a resin made pen and just minute pieces of gold. And why the ergonomic was sacrificed for the design? In watch term its like the trend of the big watches from 2000s which I'm not a fan of. Btw, nice MIH watch he has...
Well I choose the pens that I love from his store, he has more ergonomic ones as well but at this higher end that we showed design and materials and shapes play a certain role of a wow-factor when you spend so much money. But look at the John Lenon one which was almost the most expensive pen, going now for 50k and it´s more classical. MIH rocks!

The Astrograph almost made it (Caran dÁche was a bit too slow with responding to the video idea) which I am sure they now regret and the Richard Mille Pen is rumored to never made it into production. And keep in mind, we have to physically get the pieces, not that easy to do :). The ones you saw are all in Samuel´s store for sale which is already impressive to get a hold of. :)

Please learn how to use the blind cap of the Namiki pens. It’s embarrassing to see you pulling it out and claiming it regulates the flow. The flow regulation is actually tiny, and the way you demonstrate it, if tried with ink all of the ink will leak on the paper instantly.

I'm also a fountain pen enthusiast, but I don't spend even 5% of what I spend for watches. I love the Japanese urushi lacquered pens.
I also love and have collected some Maki-E pens. The man-hours behind them are even more than many high-end watches.
