Even better, if you point out the disrepancy of her missing documents, she'll plead and say she can't obtain them or else she'd he in trouble. If you approve her passport at that point, your character will tell her "he is waiting for you."
And of course, they script a border attack at the end of the day which is very easy to mess up and have Sergiu die. So you went through the effort to reunite them to let them have a happy ending only for it to be taken at the last moment. Although you don’t see Elisa again if that happens, I can only imagine that she’s left devastated and without a home

I always wondered why Sergiu had a different colored uniform compared to the three usual guards and the dude who helps disable the bomb who all where blue. It could be just to make Sergiu stand out more and it could also be since he is a 6 Year War vet

I reloaded a previous day, and succeeded on the 2nd attempt. You must be *very* quick, and accurate; but it can be done, and it is worthwhile. Sergiu is a good one, one of the few in this otherwise bleak game.

In my first play through, Sergei died before Elisa could pass through. Fyi, she will turn back and leave after you return the locket and explain to her about Sergei's death. It's heartbreaking and you wouldn't know what'll happen to her after.

Also, unless you have perfect accuracy (which a first-time player panicking certainly won’t), you’ll need to switch to the rifle after running out of tranq ammo. and if you, like most first time players, lose the rifle key in the sea of documents on your desk, they’ll definitely kill sergiu before you can do that.

They always say this. Then they let in someone who kills their countrymen. They feel guilt. Now there is no more leeway. Only give leeway when you are 100% sure about the details of who you give it to.
Not gonna lie, I always let Elisa to pass and then pause to see the reunion between 2 lovers even when they are in their pixel mode. Also, every time Sergiu dies, I always replay the day.

If I remember corectly, Elisa came in when Sergi wasn't around, so I didn't see them meeting, and on the next day Sergi was gunned down by a motorcyclist, I wasn't fast enough to shoot him, he came with guys in jeep, I was dealing with them. I had her locket laying on my table till the end of the game. But I respect the rng, this is cool
This game is amazing it has its dark moments but it also has moments like these its quite wholesome seeing this encounter gives some peace after dealing with all the terrorists
