    Hi Rich, Just want to say Thank you for your dedication to helping each of us learn Laser. I am definitely a newbie, I've had my Ortur 15w for a while but ain't done a thing yet. Just got Lightburn a couple days ago and I guess it's like learning to drive a car, take it slow, pay attention and start driving. Well going to give it a go New years weekend. Really appreciate your teaching, you cover a lot of ground at a good speed, although I have to tap the brakes(pause) a bit and then continue. Will be back in days ahead to check out your files etc and will be supporter one way or another. Thanks man. Happy New Year. Andrew

    I have had Lightburn for about a year or so now. Knew nothing about lasering when I got my first Jtech Laser. After watching many videos on Lightburn I thought I learned a lot. I bought the Ortur Master Pro laser a few weeks ago and came across your you tube page. I have been addicted to watching your videos since. Since watching your videos I realized I knew very little on how to navigate Lightburn. I learned more in the last few weeks than I did in the past year. Your videos make it so easy to follow along. I have been doing so many things either wrong or the hard way taking so long to set things up. It's like I hit the laser lottery once I stumbled upon your you tube channel. You made lasering more fun now rather than frustrating. Like other comments on your videos, yours are second to none. Thanks

    I made it right along with you. The only thing I had to do that wasn’t showing was to Window-Filled/Coarse or Smooth to see the squares actually filled in with color on the screen.
    Thanks mate.

    Let me tell you when they say never leave your laser alone they are 100% right, I finally downloaded your file Rich and I tested one of the cheap plywood coaster they sell on Amazon the one that come in a pack of 60. When the laser(sculpfun s9)started burning mate when it got to 100 power the thing nearly caught on 🔥, I stopped it immediately and I ended up adjusting the output at 40 % en every layer, even 50 it burns the plywood.
    Any way great file and everyone should run this test

    Love that you share your files. Seems like a lot of laser TH-cam creators put up a link to their Etsy page. I'm used to the 3d printing community where most everything is free on thingiverse. Anyways, I'm new to lasers and lightburn, but I noticed in 1.3.01 there is a material test option under tools. Looks like it auto generates cut test grids. Has anyone played around with this yet?

  • @robcormier6670
    @robcormier6670 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thank you for sharing. My first test grid had to be aborted because of too much power, possibly the test file that I used. This looks like it'll get me on track! Look forward to watching more of your videos.
