I think Dungey is a dick. You know I don't want to be one of those guys bitching about an autograph, I worked at bikeshop, my buddy's 7 year old little brother snubbed by Dungey. When he came out of retirement, I saved those Wheaties boxes, brought a couple. The way the tents were set up, me and my brother were the only guys on that side, we both had Dungey Wheaties boxes (I saved like 3). He looks up, sees our Wheaties boxes, quickly averted eye contact. Those things came out awhile ago, anyway after that me and my brother gave him a new nickname. The Dung beetle 😂. Fuck him and his Wheaties boxes. I know pros can't do that shit all day, but would have taken 2 seconds, only pro out there was Jo Shimoda, he was out all day signing. I got like 3 autographs from him. Then he went out and won the overall that day I think. Going through the trouble of bringing those stupid boxes, taking them to pits. Ect. Honestly he always got waxed by RV, then retired way to early cause he was scared Tomac was gonna smoke him lol. Dudes always seemed like a prick.
I sponsored a privateer rider this year and had FELD employees tell my rider and his mechanic that they couldn't wear the rain jackets that I had made to keep my riders dry. (They were told they could wear the jackets everywhere but the LINE.... Makes total sense now why they won't let PRIVATEERS sell merchandise too... They banned a raincoat because it was brilliant marketing and flashy.... corporate americas the best.... hahahahah...... Gonna get interesting.... cheers! #kranikbrand

You ask questions that are incongruous with those holding the reigns of power. As the sport of motocross has evolved it has become more aligned with the intent of mainstream corporate dogma. This stifles actual growth while centralizing those same power structures that help perpetuate this directional evolution, or devolution as some may perceive it. The sport of motocross is an Extreme Sport, even more injurious than professional MMA. Ask any professional MMA fighter who understands the brutality of man and machine. They look at us like we’re effin nuts. A handlebar to the sternum may result in the severing of a valve in the heart (unsurvivable). Or throttle lock off a tiny tabletop may send the unsuspecting victim hurling over a 100 ft to the dome, resulting in a broken pelvis, femur, arm, jaw (along with dislocation), teeth forced backwards into the gum line, tongue skewered upside down through the single remaining tooth, blood pouring into the mouth causing victim to aspirate on their own fluids…I rest my case. Moto will never go truly mainstream. People are far too soft, especially woke culture and the associated intent, of which We the People are being guided by, along with the demented and fractured minds of nefarious entities posing as magnanimous individuals who care. There are some I followed or watched at one point who grovel to get the scraps from these self proclaimed LORDS of racing and I stopped following and stopped watching them. I remember reading that article how Coombs screwed the N.P.G, guy goes on behalf of the group and puts in his own Bid. Realized then and there all that guy cares about is money. Dude doesn't care about mx. Ironman, sits all year except one weekend a year (maybe 2 if there's a regional there) not counting gnnc's. I've emailed him before telling him Indiana mx is dying, we don't even have an AMA district in Indiana anymore, used to district 15. No reply. He's not gonna hold events that would help the sport. Indiana is hurting for mx. Luckily I'm 30 min from Michigan and about the same from Illinois. Everyone races those tracks. Lots of good practice tracks in Indiana, but the racing is dead. One promotor, they own like 4 tracks, they have an event at one every weekend friday Saturday sunday. The motos are 5 minutes long, and its just a joke, turnout so low there's 12 different classes on the gate. They rush through the program so fast you barely have time to get a drink of water lol. They're Reads racing. Anyway Ironman could kickstart Indiana mx again. I feel sorry for people more southern Indiana. One teack that is really awesome, wildcat, they only have about 3 events a year now, cause no series, no district, reads won't work with anyone else. You're spot on man. Him selling out all the other promotors, that sure wasn't for the "love of the sport" it's the love of money. I've never gone to lorettas, It sounds like a giant money trap. Been there, similar situation. You just have to decide, am I going to keep quiet and let the rumors quietly spread around, or am I going to say the problems out loud and get blacklisted. You always have to ask yourself, "Is this a hill I am ready to fight for and possibly die on?" Most of the time, the honest answer is NO, so you stay quiet and most of the time move on anyway. But when it's something you're passionate about, the answer should always be YES. It's clear you care about the RIDERS and the SPORT. So, yes, you pissed a lot of people off, and they are taking vengeance every chance they get. But yeah, the RIDERS and the SPORT need people like you... even it means, you're the BAD GUY.

Supercross and motocross has gone down hill through these last 15-17 years. I've been watching moto and supercross since the late 1970's and didn't miss any of the action until I got to college, early 1990's. Got back into it 1996, then worked at various dealerships, raced again, ran around with guys in the Industry and then 2008-2009 got photo credentials to still-photo Pro AMA motocross race at Freestone Tx. Just has become so lame now. Some of it is hard to watch.

Completely agree the sport is limited by this grip mx sports has. I think they did good getting the sport where it is but are in over their heads to get the sport growing to the level that it should be. The self cannibalization of sponsors and lack of outside interest is mind blowing. Hopefully people like you bringing things like this to light will spark change one day. Social media has already made a big impact. I think Deegan and Lawrence fandom will be the straw that breaks the camels back. What's your thoughts on the gopro rule. I called AMA ref Mike Burkeen he was head referee back then,, he tells me they made the gopro rule over Brian Moreau. This was before any lawsuit, well when it talked to this Burkeen, he obviously didnt want to have this conversion. He shut me down first chance he got, but he said that gopros aren't tested on helmets. The rule nothing attached to helmets. I asked Burkeen about visors, he told be don't be ridiculous. Anyway this was before the lawsuit, and I followed up in emails after I looked at the case. The medics dragged him off the track. They could have easily stopped practice, thats all it was a practice. Anyways whole reason for the gopro ban, is feld and ama are using the gopro as a scapegoat. "Helmets aren't tested for impact with gopros" Burkeen said. After looking into it, I found out they dragged him while he was saying he couldn't feel his legs. Honestly at first I tjought the guy was asshole for sueing, you get on a motorcycle and you assume risk if you crash, but their was definitely negligence. Burkeen even went as far to say the gopro went through the helmet. Lebig was taking photos, you can clearly see no hole in the helmet and the gopro broke off. Basically they are using the fact that he had a gopro on, as a legal defense that they acted like a bunch of Neanderthals at the highest level of the sport when this kid suffered a major medical emergency. I'm not for suing tracks at all if you crash. But this case, they ban gopros, they are still worn on the G.P's in Europe. Honestly I hope the AMA and Feld have to pay out. I've gotten better medical treatment from local ambulance companies at track. Everyone knows you don't move someone (literally dragged him)with a spinal injury. They are trying to cover this up, when I talked to him it was about the gopro rule. I think it was ironic how much he acted like he cared about the kid, but lied out of his ass to cover feld and AMA. Then they throw gopro under the bus, saying they're dangerous. They break off just like visor. But then I read a lawsuit is happening. Want to piss off the AMA and Feld, dig into this story. Lebig took photos and they are very easy to find. My email back and forths somehow vanished, but this sport at the highest level has a bunch of clowns running it. I hope Moreau gets paid, normally I'm 100% against suing a track, but at the top level, and I often wonder if it would have been Tomac or another top guy, I bet practice would've been stopped, he would have been put on a board, instead of dragged into the medical mule. Anyway negligence like that at this level is unacceptable. The way feld and AMA are trying to cover it up, put the blame on gopro, is ridiculous. In one Google picture you can clearly see the top of his helmet, no big hole. The adhesive mount is still there but no gopro. Anyway when I found out there was a lawsuit, it all made sense why this Burkeen guy was telling me a bunch of b.s, like I sent him the pics, said where is the hole, he said they had other pics. They probably took a hammer to the kids helmet or something, idk if a knick constitutes a hole to this guy. But throwing Moreau, Gopro both under the bus, to cover this up, and avoid paying out, all the while acting like he cares about the kid. It just blew me away. Just communicating with him he had a "we can do whatever we want" attitude. Go down that rabbit hole guarantee you find a story. I've personally had a spinal injury, wasn't wearing a gopro, and didn't get paralyzed, but have been wearing them basically since they came out, even with a tie spine, the gopro always broke off. No way it really went through the helmet. You lawn dart into a jump face, good chance for spinal injury with or without gopro. But they drag you and pull you, no telling what kind of damage could have been prevented to Moreau if the Medics weren't morons. I feel bad for the kid. Hope feld and the ama have to pay. Unfortunately They're blaming the gopro, and all of a sudden gopros are deemed dangerous.

I remember reading that article how Coombs screwed the N.P.G, guy goes on behalf of the group and puts in his own Bid. Realized then and there all that guy cares about is money. Dude doesn't care about mx. Ironman, sits all year except one weekend a year (maybe 2 if there's a regional there) not counting gnnc's. I've emailed him before telling him Indiana mx is dying, we don't even have an AMA district in Indiana anymore, used to district 15. No reply. He's not gonna hold events that would help the sport. Indiana is hurting for mx. Luckily I'm 30 min from Michigan and about the same from Illinois. Everyone races those tracks. Lots of good practice tracks in Indiana, but the racing is dead. One promotor, they own like 4 tracks, they have an event at one every weekend friday Saturday sunday. The motos are 5 minutes long, and its just a joke, turnout so low there's 12 different classes on the gate. They rush through the program so fast you barely have time to get a drink of water lol. They're Reads racing. Anyway Ironman could kickstart Indiana mx again. I feel sorry for people more southern Indiana. One teack that is really awesome, wildcat, they only have about 3 events a year now, cause no series, no district, reads won't work with anyone else. You're spot on man. Him selling out all the other promotors, that sure wasn't for the "love of the sport" it's the love of money. I've never gone to lorettas, It sounds like a giant money trap. Been there, similar situation. You just have to decide, am I going to keep quiet and let the rumors quietly spread around, or am I going to say the problems out loud and get blacklisted. You always have to ask yourself, "Is this a hill I am ready to fight for and possibly die on?" Most of the time, the honest answer is NO, so you stay quiet and most of the time move on anyway. But when it's something you're passionate about, the answer should always be YES. It's clear you care about the RIDERS and the SPORT. So, yes, you pissed a lot of people off, and they are taking vengeance every chance they get. But yeah, the RIDERS and the SPORT need people like you... even it means, you're the BAD GUY.

Supercross and motocross has gone down hill through these last 15-17 years. I've been watching moto and supercross since the late 1970's and didn't miss any of the action until I got to college, early 1990's. Got back into it 1996, then worked at various dealerships, raced again, ran around with guys in the Industry and then 2008-2009 got photo credentials to still-photo Pro AMA motocross race at Freestone Tx. Just has become so lame now. Some of it is hard to watch.

Completely agree the sport is limited by this grip mx sports has. I think they did good getting the sport where it is but are in over their heads to get the sport growing to the level that it should be. The self cannibalization of sponsors and lack of outside interest is mind blowing.

What's your thoughts on the gopro rule. I called AMA ref Mike Burkeen he was head referee back then,, he tells me they made the gopro rule over Brian Moreau. This was before any lawsuit, well when it talked to this Burkeen, he obviously didnt want to have this conversion. He shut me down first chance he got, but he said that gopros aren't tested on helmets. The rule nothing attached to helmets. I asked Burkeen about visors, he told be don't be ridiculous. Anyway this was before the lawsuit, and I followed up in emails after I looked at the case. The medics dragged him off the track. They could have easily stopped practice, thats all it was a practice. Anyways whole reason for the gopro ban, is feld and ama are using the gopro as a scapegoat. "Helmets aren't tested for impact with gopros" Burkeen said. After looking into it, I found out they dragged him while he was saying he couldn't feel his legs. Honestly at first I tjought the guy was asshole for sueing, you get on a motorcycle and you assume risk if you crash, but their was definitely negligence. Burkeen even went as far to say the gopro went through the helmet. Lebig was taking photos, you can clearly see no hole in the helmet and the gopro broke off. Basically they are using the fact that he had a gopro on, as a legal defense that they acted like a bunch of Neanderthals at the highest level of the sport when this kid suffered a major medical emergency. I'm not for suing tracks at all if you crash. But this case, they ban gopros, they are still worn on the G.P's in Europe. Honestly I hope the AMA and Feld have to pay out. I've gotten better medical treatment from local ambulance companies at track. Everyone knows you don't move someone (literally dragged him)with a spinal injury. They are trying to cover this up, when I talked to him it was about the gopro rule. I think it was ironic how much he acted like he cared about the kid, but lied out of his ass to cover feld and AMA. Then they throw gopro under the bus, saying they're dangerous. They break off just like visor. But then I read a lawsuit is happening. Want to piss off the AMA and Feld, dig into this story. Lebig took photos and they are very easy to find. My email back and forths somehow vanished, but this sport at the highest level has a bunch of clowns running it. I hope Moreau gets paid, normally I'm 100% against suing a track, but at the top level, and I often wonder if it would have been Tomac or another top guy, I bet practice would've been stopped, he would have been put on a board, instead of dragged into the medical mule. Anyway negligence like that at this level is unacceptable. The way feld and AMA are trying to cover it up, put the blame on gopro, is ridiculous. In one Google picture you can clearly see the top of his helmet, no big hole. The adhesive mount is still there but no gopro. Anyway when I found out there was a lawsuit, it all made sense why this Burkeen guy was telling me a bunch of b.s, like I sent him the pics, said where is the hole, he said they had other pics. They probably took a hammer to the kids helmet or something, idk if a knick constitutes a hole to this guy. But throwing Moreau, Gopro both under the bus, to cover this up, and avoid paying out, all the while acting like he cares about the kid. It just blew me away. Just communicating with him he had a "we can do whatever we want" attitude. Go down that rabbit hole guarantee you find a story. I've personally had a spinal injury, wasn't wearing a gopro, and didn't get paralyzed, but have been wearing them basically since they came out, even with a tie spine, the gopro always broke off. No way it really went through the helmet. You lawn dart into a jump face, good chance for spinal injury with or without gopro. But they drag you and pull you, no telling what kind of damage could have been prevented to Moreau if the Medics weren't morons. I feel bad for the kid. Hope feld and the ama have to pay. Unfortunately They're blaming the gopro, and all of a sudden gopros are deemed dangerous.
