Really appreciate all of your videos! I have a 2015 Burgman 650, and will do most of the simple maintenance myself including changing tires. Your videos are such a help, and just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you posting these! Thank You!
A Suzuki dealer told me the reason a lot of Burgman 650 transmissions fail at around 30,000 miles is that there are actually another reservoir to fill. When draining the oil it drains both reservoirs but filling the main port doesn't fill both. If the other port isn't filled, the CVT will be starved of oil and will fail. I have no idea how true that is but I know of 3 people who've had transmission failure at 30,000mls (including me and the Smyrna Cowboy) . Somebody said that sounds like the main dealer trying to make sure I get all the servicing done with them. Who knows?
Is there a need to replace the crush washer? I can't find the specific size listed anywhere for my 08 650. Does the transmission drain take a crush washer as well? Thanks as always!!
While this is a great and informative tutorial, it is not necessary to remove the lower Tupperware piece to change the engine oil. It is however, if you are changing the gear box oil. Loving my 09 650 Burgman!!
Ledude, why don't you give commentary on your videos. explaining the processes and steps your doing would make it much easier to learn and follow exactly what you are doing.
Always find engine all change videos but they never mention clutch oil. I just drained engine, then clutch, but only a tablespoon full of oil came out. Do I fill clutch oil through tiny tube on side if housing, or wait till engine oil gets through?
YOU DONT WA NT TI RUN THE ENGINE WITHOUT THE OIL CAP ON YOU WILL END UP WITH A BIG MESS WHAT YOU PUT IN IS WHAT YOU GET NO DISCHARGE MECHANISM IF IN DOUBT DRAIN THE OIL AND RFILL TO THE HIGH OIL MARK ON THE OIL SIGHT
@@LeDude00 no, i have oil cap in! I just wonder if engin throw exesive oil out thru some kind of hose or something. I am asking this becouse i had oil leak somewhere in the middle part of engine. I change oil and leakage stops.

I can't believe I just sat through almost 9 minutes of oil change for a Burgman and i don't even own one. LOL
With greetings from Iran
Step 1: Obtain Burgman ;-)
Same here!

RobJTeasdale My 2003 died at 30,000 miles too
Carew Martin I now know of 4. Not good stats. Shame, because the Burgman 650 is one hell of a decent bike.
That's weird. You're right though, it's such an awesome machine I didn't even hesitate about getting another one.
+RobJTeasdale You need to change engine oil and the oil of the gearbox
cvt is dry. You mean the transmission oil. Also the final drive gear oil needs to be changed also.
The videos are very informative. So much so I would like to see one that shows removal of the engine in order to remove the cvt.
Can you do a video of the full replacement of a rear mirror and blinker assembly?
an incredible video!
I learn a lot.

u wouldn't happen to know if the procedure is the same for a 2013?

Nope you dont even need to remove it für transmission oil either. Just fill up using the overflow hole to fill it.
I just wish that mechanics would tighten the drain plug to the proper torque. I shouldn’t need a two foot breaker bar to loosen the plug.
I always thought the 650 took regular 10W40 but today they put in synthetic 10W40 which was way more expensive
Great video ! For which version(s) of the Burgman would this sequence apply ?
PS Would it be similar for a Burgman 400 ?
i just did my 1st oil change on my Burgman 650
Thanks, LeDude!
bravo for your videos buddy!

exactly..this is stupid not hearing anything!!
I agree. A few seconds of audio is better than trying to speed read and could fill-in info gaps.

THERE IS NO MECHANISM FOR DISCHARGING EXESS OIL
IT COULD END UP IN THE TRANSMISSION CHAMBER
