Good rescue that Black restore product looks like really good stuff. I’ve done my share of work on those Bergman‘s. It’s kind of important to get the final drive oil and also the transmission oil changed too. The transmission oil is the same as the engine oil and because that particular scooter has a wet clutch It does have to use a motorcycle type oil that is compatible with wet clutches. Thanks for the video keep the rubber side down my friend.👍🏻
@@ManCaveMayhem it is good stuff last a while also especially if your bike is stored inside I’ll take a look at that transmission oil as well thanks buddy 💪
@@ZumaGawd I know this sounds hokey but have you ever tried Marvel mystery oil in your engine and let it run then drain it and add regular oil. I hear it works well. Have you ever tried a heat gun on the black plastic ever so carefully? I’ve seen that work also.
@ hey buddy yes I’ve tried heat hun before doesn’t work on all plastics and I wouldn’t try that on a bike that isn’t mine . And yea Marvels mystery oil is amazing stuff . I may give that a shot Thanks for you input!!!
@@bazerk856 the sound is definitely coming from the top end but I will do that as well . I’m waiting on one tire that I’m seeming to have a hard time getting (the rear)
The Burgman is a good bike - a shame they are no longer made. You did a great job restoring this one. What a pity it was left to get into the state it was when you started work on it. I feel like I'm lecturing but please wear safety gear when you ride helmet gloves and so on. Others are watching (that's why you make the videos) and they figure if you're not going to wear the gear why should they and that can result in serious injury for new riders.
@@rogersmith5371 yea it is a great bike and thank you! . And in our state helmets are not required nor are glasses if to have a windshield like the burgman does but your right I should set an example for other thanks for your insight!
Awesome video Great Job man taking care of this bike & they will last a very long time, what was the name of the trim clear i have a 2015 Honda Forza with this Tx heat trim is looking like the bike you are working on.. Thanks
What people don’t seem to get is these bikes people ride them in the rain so it getting hit with a low pressure power washer isn’t gonna do anything to it
@@TommyJ_9 No, they are designed to get wet from riding in the rain but, Pressure Washing is high pressure into places it normally wouldn't go and DOESN'T BELONG.

You need to change the transmission oil and the clutch oil too. Still sounds rough. Maybe check the tappets.
