Thats a heck of a good buy on that diesel. Ive got a 2014 with only about 300 miles on it and have been going back and forth on selling it to get a bit more performance, but im seriously considering a turbo now.

I’ve got 08 too. My late husband gave it to me with 5mls on it and I luv it. Some ask what’s wrong with it, “sounds like you need oil, girl”, or “better get it looked at before you blow it” etc. I smile and go climb a wall. Subbed immediately ❤
Haha, yeah I get that quite a bit. They are noisy engines but they always sound the same and keep on going.
I just picked up a 2014 arctic cat 700 xt for $200. It was left for dead. That 700 diesel was a hell of a find!

These engines could likely go 10,000hrs or more. The body and frame and cvt would go bad several times in that amount of hours. I would love to have one to use as a tractor.

It’s sad what people will throwaway over extremely minor issues. I’ve found that anything with a heat activated fuse will work with a new fuse or a jumper. I had 4 heat guns that didn’t work (I wrap cars) and I found each one had a bad heat fuse, landfills are full of perfectly usable stuff with bad $0.25 parts 🤦♂️

Did you end up getting your clutch straightened out on your machine?
@@rockspowersports no I have not. I will be getting to it in a couple days. I was told it may be just the belt I hope. I’m the third owner and I don’t think it have ever been replaced. I have been looking at many video on how the clutch work.

quick random question for ya, i have an 07 ac 700 diesel with like 600 miles and just over 1 hundred hours on it. itll crank but wont start. i have good voltage and fuel to the rail. would you happen to have any insight as to how to get it running? thanks!

The crazy thing is that these engines cost nearly $5,000 alone. Hard to imagine AC managed to sell them for what they did and make anything. The military bought some of these in mil spec form, they probably spent $50,000 each knowing how that goes.
