I went to Spain years ago. Things I miss: scenery, olde worlde villages, efficiency (mostly), and proper beer! I WAS considering Thailand, but as you got the most beautiful girl in the country, I'll stay in Spain I suppose....
You look very happy and your wife is beautiful and loving. I started watching your videos several years ago before ever going to Thailand. I enjoyed them then and even more now. Watching your videos is a source of confirmation of my decision to spend much of my time in Thailand. I am married to a beautiful Thai woman now. I find myself torn between the things I love about living in Upstate New York and living in Thailand. I believe that in the fullness of time, I will discover our happiest balance. When in Thailand, my wife and I live primarily in Jomtien but we also spend time in her home village in the province of Phetchabun. What I miss most about the USA is my family and friends and the beauty than comes with the change of seasons in my homeland. Thank you for your videos.
Hi Kevin and Pook, I left the UK in 2006, lived in Mexico for 3 years, Texas for 13 years, Phuket for 18 months and have been in Khon Kaen for 10 months. What do I miss? Smoked back bacon (UK) Good beer (UK) Good tacos and hot sauce (Mexico) Good Steak, barbecue (especially brisket - Texas)
@@TheIsaanFarangyes, better for me. Actually, one of the reasons that I moved here.......less steak and beer. Although, the daft Old Speckled Hen at Brick House is rather tasty. 😊
I am looking forward to a new life, no winters, the people i will meet, there are many things. I love being in asia, is much better than the US. People are more friendly and better quality of life.

Will be staying in Bangkok with a beautiful woman I have meet and looking to start our new life together. Will probably live in Bangkok initially before moving back to Isaan province around Roi Et. Really looking forward to getting to Thailand in January.

Do you ever miss the abandoned chewing gum on the pavement in the UK? And dog poo everywhere? What about the angry and aggressive drunks, petty crime and petty criminals, road rage? Thought not.
I know that people frown on much of what I say when comparing Thailand to the UK William, but all that I say is true. I wish that more people would try living in Thailand or another country of their choice, if only for 6 months to get a realistic view of just how bad things are there in the UK. Sometimes you need to step back and take a look to get an accurate picture.
@@TheIsaanFarangSo true mate. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. I did live in Adelaide South Australia for 8 years then returned to Scotland in 2011. Dog poo in England or packs of stray dogs on the loose in Thailand. You pays your money...
I think everyone misses the diverse mix of cultures the UK has especially London which makes it the best city in the world
