This shouldn't really be a "sequel" as it is just it's own thing in its own world. There are similar concepts, yes, but VE has no plot connection to HS.

I have not watched or read this, but of course the flash animations always leave me with wide eyes and emotion, the one that caught my eye were the two trolls fighting, and it seemed that a dark thing had entangled the blue ones lusus, seeing the sadness and shock her eyes, and then her luses eyes, filled me with grief and worry, like its saying goodbye to the troll on last time.
The music felt too much like Homestuck, something that I appreciate because oh it's good. The only thing I don't like about Vast Error is that there are too many characters and tbh I don't know them enough, the characters only talk about other characters and how they used to be and how they are but that's not a development that feels ... Well developed. I know Vast Error has a visual novel for other characters But sometimes this feels like a parade of Ocs with prompts and all but not the actual work Still I think they have achieved great stuff Congrats on that
I mean keep in mind the characters have all pretty much JUST entered. The story is still young, so all the talk about their pasts and such are kinda just set-up for what’s to come

Ngl, nearly cried at 3:06 - 3:30. The music paired with Serpaz' Lusus looking so apologetic just hit me, dude. Also, the distant echoey guitar in Sovara's segment is one of my favorite parts of the song! Though, the visuals at 2:05 - 2:14 were incredibubble! I still can't believe I share Ellsee's b-day! Guess she was destined to be my favorite. Dismas is really close though.

it's a fan adventure called vast error, but while it's based on similar principles it's a completely different universe and plot. repiton is nothing like alternia, there is a Game but it's absolutely not the same nor are the stakes similar, and the themes and cast are not at all the same. I'd recommend it even to non homestucks--it's utterly phenomenal.
tbh i didn't expect EOA2 to be like this, probably because I heard Pandora way to many times theorizing what would happen. But still wow, it came out really well (as always), with my favorite parts being the occeus part and well everything xd, keep it up guys
